In honor of National Volunteer Week, Barb's Precious Rescue was invited to appear on WGN’s Spotlight Chicago. Volunteer Gail Elliott sat down with Sarah Jindra and Ji Suk Yi along with 6-month old Carlson to talk about Barb’s and volunteering at the shelter. Adorable 1-year old Rudolph was on deck for the segment but was a little nervous about his first television appearance so he stayed behind the camera 😉. Carlson has now been adopted and Rudolph will get his own separate post shortly - he’s an awesome Dude! Autumn and Cider
Sunday sweetness alert ‼️ These two cuties were dropped at our door with others in separate carriers. We placed them into kennels based on the group they arrived with. After a while, Autumn jumped out her kennel and attempted get in Cider’s kennel. Cider immediately started licking her head and caring for her.💕 Based on age, we determined them to be mother and daughter. The family was reunited into a kennel while they await their spay surgeries.
