Found the escapee Dolichothele diamantinensis

Another egg sack. This one’s from a Tapinauchenius violaceus. Also known as the purple tree spider. I don’t know when the sack was laid. Nor did I see my male pair with her. I did leave him with her for over a week with zero problems. He also paired with a buddies female. Fingers crossed this sack will be fertile and not give me any problems.

🚊 Deroplatys desiccata female #4. This girl wasn’t cooperating with just 1 male so I sent in the second as a distraction. That’s when she finally decided to cooperate. They didn’t connect until after this picture was taken.

Caribena Versicolor

Versicolors won’t be in the incubator much longer. I need to get my dram viles drilled and ready.

Neoholothele incei (Trinidad Olive, and Gold tarantula copulation.

Here’s a little bit of how last night went for these two. Also note that the female is the Olive form, and the male is the gold (Recessive) form. If all goes well I should have both forms in a few months. Sorry about the glare from the butterfly enclosure. I didn’t use any lighting last night other than my phone. I didn’t want to risk my males survival chances since I have one other mature female to pair him with.

Avicularia Purpurea sub adult

I wish I would have been recording when she jumped at the tongs. She got the roach first try. Purpureas are one of my favorite Avics. What’s yours?

One of my M. Balfouri girls finally laid her sack. This one’s 8 days old as of today. I really look forward to making a communal set up of 7 to 10.

P. Metallica

I’m hopeful this beautiful P. Metallica tarantula will sex outas a male. If so I have a mature female waiting on him. His colors are out of this world in person.
