EMERGENCY! URGENT 🆘
Every day he's getting worse, if he continues
to be in pain & suffer he will give up 🥵

♥️Fred is one of the most amazing pups that ever lived. He needs surgery for his severely infected teeth & painful & dislocated mouth. Sweet, gentle, loving Fred is SUFFERING & it's beyond imagination how he remains absolutely good natured, receptive to love & as gentle as a lamb. His ears are also severely infected & painful😢

His medical condition is beyond the shelter's capacity to treat, although they're doing what they can hoping for a rescue which is his only prayer!

We CANNOT get Fred out & get him help without a foster!🙏🏼WE NEED A COMMITED FOSTER NOW! Help us end this amazing animal's suffering ASAP

We saved a life today. Meet little Forest Gump♥️

He needed us. His life depended on us. He may have just given up & not cared if he lived or died, or maybe was just waiting to die to end his suffering😢But we wanted to show him life is worth living. We wanted to save him to give him the happiness he never had.

Now we need you to help us give him a beautiful life worth fighting for. We can't walk away when we know a huge medical expense is involved because those are the ones that need us most. So please continue to help us say yes to these most deserving animals♥️🐾

Poor Fred didn't realize he was gonna be smothered when he came in for a cuddle😘

Anyway you can see his mouth needs some serious dental care, which apparently at this point he's so thrilled with being cared about that he's not thinking about his teeth & honestly his tongue is just the touch that makes him extra adorable❤️

How is this whole wide world can an utterly amazing, gentle, good natured, well mannered huggable, etc etc pup like Fred end up to be a "homeless, unwanted, throw away" animal? Just beyond unbelievable & his teeth are so awful ( & his mouth seems so swollen & sore) that his big tongue hangs out the side of his mouth (pics to follow).

So no medical care, no thought to leaving him to suffer in a shelter😢seriously although his humans left much to be desired, Fred is the sweetest, happiest pup on earth. Maybe he's happy to be at the shelter where people actually care about him & show him some humans know what true love is all about♥️

Well we want Fred, we really think he deserves a loving family ASAP. And a really special, loving family deserves an absolutely awesome pup like Fred🥰

As soon as you nuzzled me you took my heart away💕

You were aching for a cuddle, a soft touch, a caring friend
To tell you that someone in this world will love you again

You were so frightened, so lonely so confused & betrayed
Your own family, your whole world, just left you & walked away🥲

We know she tried so hard to be a good girl,
Don't they know they were her whole world?

LIFE IS SO UNFAIR, ESPECIALLY HERE😡

They call it a shelter but it's really a very sad place
Where they hide all the discards of fhe human race

But Im here to hug & hold you & tell you today
We'll never stop fighting for you, or walk away

But we need help from the humans that have love to share
For a gentle, loving soul to whom life's been unkind & unfair 💗

To come to the shelter with open arms to adopt you & bring you home
& tell you they'll always love you, & you'll never again be sad & alone 🙏🏼

On a very happy note we've just been updated on our big, beautiful boy, Maurice. No need for words to see how he's doing♥️ He's the best foster big brother to whatever fosters his family takes in.

Maurice is very paternal, taking them under his wing & helping them feel right at home😘

We have solid potential fosters😘 The shelter is aware & Gotti is safe. Two other rescues have also offered to step up for Gotti or to "share him" with us. How's that for an early holiday gift? A stocking full of thanks for the many heartfelt shares & prayers🙏🏼

It's really the saddest situation when. . .

A beautiful, sweet, gentle devoted companion animal is abandoned by his family in his senior years,with an urgent & painful medical condition🥲

Sadder still is the shelter doesn't have the resources to treat serious medical conditions because they're caring for about 500 other needy animals😞

But the saddest part of all is. . .
Well you all know what that is🥵

UNLESS Somebody steps up💛🙏🏼

Gotti will be waiting for his hero at the Newark Shelter, but not for long🥲

We want to tell you a story about "Side-Eyed Petie"

Now here's a perfectly gentle, super friendly, incredibly sweet, lovingly cuddly, wouldn't hurt a fly (& of course ravishingly handsome)pup♥️🐾

Well too bad for sweet Petie he has that side eye thing going on (he's just made that way, it's not his fault) that appears to some humans that he's giving them that scary side eye stare. He's not a human with evil intent but some people are offended & spooked by an innocent pup staring them down out of the corner of his eye. Because that's how some people are😞

And this beautiful creature nearly lost his life after having an incredibly long stay at the shelter😢
