Exciting News at Oakview Animal Hospital! We are delighted to announce that Dr. Mary Kovach, a dedicated relief veterinarian who has worked with us over the past year, will be joining our team on a more consistent basis starting in 2025. Many of you may have already had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kovach during her relief shifts. She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for veterinary medicine, enjoying the flexibility and variety of working with different clinics throughout the region. Due to our steady growth, we recognized the need for a consistent part-time veterinarian, and Dr. Kovach was the perfect fit. Her familiarity with our staff and clients makes her an invaluable addition to our team. While she will continue to provide relief services at various clinics in the Brevard area, we are delighted that she will be available more regularly at Oakview Animal Hospital. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kovach in her new role! 🐾

Today kicked off Vet Tech Appreciation Week! Please give a lot of love to our wonderful technicians/ assistants/ receptionists that make this field of medicine possible❤️.

As an early appreciation event, coordinated with our wonderful reps, the whole team went to Discovery Cove, and swam with dolphins last month! You can meet our finned new team member in our group picture below! 🐬

In the wake of this storm we hope all are safe. The clinic will be evaluated by staff soon, and we will be able to give more information. Barring structural damage and power problems the intention is to reopen for Friday to function as normal. We will reach out with any updates that contradict this. Stay safe out there! 🐶

With the loudest holiday of the year approaching, please call this week if you think your pet would benefit from medication to help keep your furry friends calm!

In observance of the Fourth of July holiday the clinic will be closed for a long weekend. We will be closed from Thursday the 4th through the weekend, but will be open for normal business resuming on Monday the 8th of July!
