Palm Beach Colubrids

Palm Beach Colubrids Reptile Enthusiasts Palm Beach Colubrids represents two friends and their passion for snakes; in particular kingsnakes. Thanks for checking our collection out.

We strongly believe in providing the best possible care for our snakes. Compared to some, our collection may be modest, but it is not lacking in quality and care. We strive to keep our hobby strong, and our snakes even stronger! If you are a fellow h**p enthusiast, please like our page. We will be adding photos from local h**p adventures and the occasional veterinary case that we take in too, so keep checking back as we continue the progress on the page! Mike and Jon

After a year and a half of documenting one of our greenest barons racers that was produced from blue x blue pairing, we are now ready to show you the results. First pic is just a few months old, second pic 1 year, third and fourth pic is a year and a half old. Just 6 months ago my friend .dilan had a green barons racer and now this snake has become completely blue and continues to get more blue with every shed. I assured him this would happen, honestly I think he was skeptical! 🤣 I’ve had some of the greenest hatchlings turn into some of the most deep blue barons I have seen. With what we are seeing and from our experience with raising up hatchlings from our Blue x Blue pairings, all hatchlings turn into some form of blue and have never been green. Some seem to take up to 3-4 years to turn blue while others turn in as little as a year and half, that is for the hatchlings that are more green as hatchlings. We have now documented this in numerous individuals and have come to the same conclusion each and every time. Thought I would share my experience with the Baroni community since we are still trying to figure out how some of these genetics work with this species. I would like to note this has been our experience and documentation with the snakes we are working with. We have what we believe to be 3 different bloodlines in our collection all yielding the same results. philodryasbaroni **petology
