We at Palm Coast Pet Clinic want to continue to provide the care you have come to expect for your pets while also helping to slow the spread of COVID-19. We would like to take a moment to discuss with you what we know about this virus, and what we are doing to help protect our clients and staff from becoming infected.
What we know so far:
> The CDC has asked that we practice social distancing. This means only going out to public places when absolutely necessary. It means avoiding close, personal contact whenever possible. It is an effort to slow the spread so that our healthcare system does not become overwhelmed.
> Dogs and Cats cannot be infected with Covid-19.
What we are doing:
> We plan to remain open for regular business hours and are still seeing sick patients. We are offering and encouraging drop off appointments only. These can be performed one of two ways - you may call us (386) 597-2905, from the parking lot and a staff member will come get your pet. A historyand treatment plan will be conducted over the phone. Then, either we can take your pet to the treatment area and you can wait in the parking lot and a doctor will call you after the exam to discuss findings and recommendations or you can drop your pet off and head home and we will call you there when the doctor has finished her exam.
> Our staff will be wearing gloves/mask while examining/treating your pets. This is being done in an over abundance of caution to help prevent spread of the virus as it can live on surfaces for a period of time.
> We will be routinely cleaning door handles, surfaces, credit card machines throughout the day. This, in conjunction with our normal deep cleaning at the end of every day.
> For food/medication pick up/refill(s) - Please call
(386) 597-2905. We can take payments over the phone and you may pick up at our back door #8 (around the building). Please call us when you have arrived for pickup and we will bring your items to you at the back door.
*Thank you for being patient with us during this unprecedented time. Our primary focus remains the health and safety of our patients, clients and staff members.
