Mercy never ceases to amaze me!!! We hadn’t tried a barn hunt class before, but I entered her for her first instinct and novice trials this past weekend. By the 2nd day of the cluster she earned her RATN and today she earned her RATO! Her times were so impressive she was High in Trial for all 3 of her open barn hunt runs! Mercy also tried Rally for the first time today and earned her first leg towards her Rally novice! I love this girl so much!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Mercy’s sister Akira is loving life on the East coast of Florida. 🥰 Her mom said “Akira’s a sassy little diva who goes on play dates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with her other Shiba friend and a cattle dog she loves. 😅 She loves to cuddle and sploot.” 🥰
Mercy & Akira are sired by Zee (GCH CH Sunojo from Sea to Shining Zee), out of Ruby (GCH CH Oaks Precious Jewel at Absolute CA BCAT TKN ATT).

ANNOUNCEMENT!! In the next week or so we have 9 Shibas coming in to the rescue. They are not from a puppy mill. We also have 20 plus Shiba we are still trying to rehome. IF you have an application in and are still interested in adopting please message us here or drop us a line at [email protected].
So many applications we have are contacted and then no one responds. If you have applied check your spam. If you have not received any email please contact us.

Not every dog is good with every home and the most popular dogs whether it is age or the fact they get along with other dogs get multiple applications all over the state.
If you interested in a dog in another part of the state you may have to drive to meet that dog. Unfortunately a lot of people cannot or do not want to help with transports. Trying to get a dog from one place to the next long distance is becoming more and more difficult. Of course we have our long time SIRF friends that can help in certain areas of the state and we so appreciate that!

We are not complaining just letting you know our status at this point and if you are reading this and can help in some capacity please let us know! We would love to have you! We've been at this for 11 years and the last few have been really challenging. The sheer number of people wanting to rehome their Shibas has been incredible. Not just here but all the rescues are facing the same issues. We call it Covid dogs. Unsocialized, unfixed, now unwanted dogs. Sad so very Sad.
We are here but we are running out of resources to help. Not monetary but people. Adopters, volunteers, fosters, transporters.
Please help us help the unwanted Shiba in our state!
