Did you know that we created an exam room specifically for our kitty patients? It's quiet, calm and designed to minimize stress. As you can see, Teddi is clearly enjoying her visit with us! ๐Ÿ˜ป

We also:
-provide a cubbyhole for cats to hide in (with a warmed blanket!) while still being able to access them for examinations.
-use diffusers to release pheromones that mimic the feline facial pheromone that cats deposit when they mark an area as safe.
-play soft, cat-specific music to reduce stress.
-use handling techniques and treats to minimize fear.
