Have you ever stumbled upon a truly unique name for a pet that just made you smile? Whether it’s a quirky twist on a classic or something totally out of the box, the names we choose for our furry friends say so much about their personalities (and ours!).

To celebrate Unique Names Day, we thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite patient names: Arlo Fluffhead, Barthameow, Boris Kilmouski, Dr. Darby Doolittle, Indiana Bones, Joan of Barc, Miles Maximus Mayhem, Scarlet No'Haira, Spotacus and Taco Bella.

It's the Mystery Monday reveal!

Through DNA testing, Dr. Turk found that Lady Godiva is a mix of Husky, Chow Chow, Labrador Retriever and (unknown) Terrier!

Did you know that DNA testing not only allows us to discover your pet's breed(s), it also allows us to know your pet's health on a deeper level? Because many diseases have genetic markers, analyzing your pet's DNA can indicate if they have the potential to develop a condition or pass it on to future generations. Some dogs and cats even have genetic mutations that makes them sensitive to certain (commonly used) medications.
