Sir Duke, who never ceases to amaze us, made the long walk from outside to his kennel area all on his own, just by calling his name! It was a truly awesome pawsome moment that filled our hearts with joy. 🐶❤️
Every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory worth celebrating. Here's to Sir Duke and all our furkids for their incredible spirit and resilience! 🐾✨

🐾 Canine Estates Update: Sir Duke🐾
Sometimes, we find ourselves questioning if we're doing the right thing, especially when we get that heart-wrenching call about an emergency case at the shelter. Sir Duke was on the brink of being euthanized, and we knew we had to act fast to save him.
We threw everything we knew at him—meds, care, and endless patience. We wondered if he could hear or see, as there were no clear signs. Whistling, making noises, and entering his quarantine area were met with little response.
But today, we had a breakthrough! 🎉 Sir Duke came outside all on his own without us having to pick him up. Our hearts melted as we watched him respond to our touch. The last 2 days he gets up to sniff under the doorway when we try to sneak into his area. Plus we’re sure he can see something what that is will be a mystery but he’s navigating a lot better.
We are beyond thrilled with his progress. Whether we've bought him more time to be loved and spoiled or simply given him a chance to live, it's all worth it. Knowing he will be with us, loved and cared for, no matter what, makes every effort worthwhile. We couldn’t of done it with out all of your support from our friends & followers we thank you all so very much.
