Today was an absolutely fabulous day here at Canine Estates Inc.! We witnessed a truly magical moment as our beloved Miss Teagan took a giant leap out of her shell and ventured out into the kennel. And WOW, was she super happy! 🌟
The highlight of the day? Teagan PLAYED! Yes, you read that right—thanks to the ever-charming Miss Fancy Nancy, Teagan engaged in playtime and had a blast. Can you believe it? Our hearts are bursting with joy! 🥳🐶
It's moments like these that remind us of the magic here in the land of kisses & treats. Every step forward is a touchdown, and today, Teagan scored big! 🎉

Miss Teagan day 1
🌟 Welcome to the Sanctuary, Miss Teagan! 🐾day 1
Today, we had the immense joy of welcoming Miss Teagan, a fragile and timid little girl who has had a rough start in life. Coming from a hoarding case, she arrived scared and uncertain, but we are committed to showing her the love and patience she deserves.
On her first day with us, we made sure to create a calm and safe environment for her. As she stepped into her new surroundings, our entire team paused their activities and gathered quietly around her, giving her the space and time to come to us on her own terms. We believe in gentle introductions and letting our rescues set the pace.
Teagan has a unique way of exploring her new world – she does this adorable little bump with her nose as she checks things out. To help her feel more comfortable and start building trust, we all focus on these "nose bumps" and call out the word "Touch" whenever she does it. This way, she can begin to associate the word with the action and feel more at ease.
One of our wonderful team members, Gracie, is fostering Sadie, a 13-year-old with fabulous, happy, and calm energy. Sadie has proven to be the perfect companion to help Teagan settle in and feel safe.
We wanted to share a glimpse into our process for welcoming special cases like Teagan. It's all about patience, understanding, and letting them know they're finally home. 🏡❤️

🌟 Sometimes in life, unexpected events can turn our world upside down, leaving us in need of a helping hand. Recently, one of our former volunteers found themselves in the hospital, worried about their beloved pet, Elsa. But, in times of need, help is often closer than we think. A heartfelt thank you to Stacy for stepping up and providing the support needed! Elsa, who was adopted from another rescue and deemed reactive and difficult to the point where they wanted to remove her teeth or euthanize before Janet adopted her. Elsa was still a little difficult and not good around other dogs until Stacy brought her to the sanctuary With the dedication magic & love of our incredible staff, within just two days, Elsa made herself right at home, as happy as can be. This touching story reminds us that with love and care, anything is possible. We are incredibly grateful that her mom is on the mend and doing okay.
