MEET BRUCE 😊
Bruce, a 2-year-old Pitbull mix rescue, faced a tough start with recurrent re**al prolapse. During an exploratory surgery, a paraprostatic cyst was discovered near his urinary bladder and colon that could not be addressed by the shelter surgical veterinarian. After being adopted, Bruce's primary veterinarian referred him to Midwest Veterinary Surgical Services. This mobile surgery team provided specialized care at the referring clinic, successfully addressing the cyst and completing a colopexy. Bruce continues to visit his primary veterinarian for regular care, showcasing the importance of collaboration between primary care and surgical specialists in supporting pets through complex medical cases. / Aaron M. Meet Rudu!

Rudu needed a dental procedure and was referred to the Veterinary Dental Center in Aurora, Illinois.
https://www.veterinarydentalcenter.com/ He received an anesthetic protocol for patients with seizures and medications were used to reduce nausea or vomiting. He was scheduled as the first patient of the day, so Mom/Dad could be present for the premedication and sat with him to minimize any stress or anxiety. His dental procedure included anesthesia, IV fluids, warming device, cleaning/polishing and dental X-rays. A nurse was assigned to constant monitoring while under anesthesia and during recovery.
