One of the most frequent questions we are getting- how many lessons do I have to take to ride like that?
Well, it all depends. We have had students who did 20-25 lessons and a few trail rides and they are amazing and able to keep up. Some have been coming for longer and still are not quite ready. There is no universal answer, as the devil lies in details. Making a horse go fast is easy. What’s hard is being soft on its back and mouth to be able to sustain that pace.
Our horses are extremely well conditioned, and ready to take on a challenge. But they are used to soft hands and well moving riders. All of our instructors are here happy to work with you on lightness and becoming a great rider

Landon is such an exceptional rider. No saddle, no bridle, not even a lead rope, loping laps around a stallion.
Mucka is my baby calf. She lives in my backyard and loves to hang out on the patio with me and my dog. I named her after my grandmas cows- such great childhood memories!
Anyway, Mucka started becoming a little far and lazy. So we started exercising her and horses together. And guess what- one of our horses Starlight is a retired competitive cutting horse. She loves working calves and you can see on this video how much fun she has.
If you’d like to give it a try, Landon is teaching cutting during his lessons. Just book with him on our website and message us to let us know you’d like to try cutting! (Cutting is a sport where rider and the horse work together to make a cow go to a specific place)
