Feisty little Frosty was in for an exam. He's not quite old enough for vaccines so he will be back in a few weeks when he will be ready. He was in for a kitten exam to make sure he's healthy and he is ☺️
With those beautiful eyes and gorgeous coat, Frosty is stunning.

Yawning is contagious for dogs as well as humans. Studies have shown that a yawn from you can trigger one from your dog. 🥱
Even more interesting is that it is four times more likely to happen when the yawn originates from someone your pet knows. Crazy, right?

Enzo was back for some x-rays and was started on prednisone.
We are keeping an eye on him and will move forward as needed.

This gorgeous guy with big bright eyes is Haze. He's around 17 weeks old and such a sweet boy. ☺️ Our staff got to love on him when he came in for a wellness exam for an upper respiratory problem he was having. We did some diagnostics and sent him home with medication. We hope he will be feeling better soon.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic condition that affects a dog's gastrointestinal (GI) tract, including the stomach and intestines. It's caused by a reaction to chronic irritation of the intestinal tract, which leads to an allergic-type response and inflammation.
This inflammation impairs the dog's ability to digest and absorb nutrients and pass waste normally.

Symptoms of IBD can include:
diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, lethargy, fever, decreased appetite, weight loss, flatulence, and abdominal discomfort.
Symptoms can vary in severity and may be intermittent or chronic, lasting more than four weeks. If left untreated, IBD can lead to poor nutrient absorption, weight loss, abdominal distension, and swelling of the extremities. In extreme cases, it can cause blood clots, which can be fatal.

Handsome Tank was in for an exam for a neuter and it was also confirmed that this sweet boy had a TTO and needed surgery to correct it. Doctor Youssef checked him out and for now his owners opt to take medication home.
TTO is medically known as Triple Tibial Osteotomy.
