Palmdale ACC and all the other LA County Animal Care Centers are celebrating the 10th year anniversary of the Clear the Shelters from August 10th to Sept. 10th, 2024.

From 11am to 5pm Mondays to Saturdays, enjoy a discounted adoption fees for adopting dogs and/or cats.

Adoption fees are discounted to $10.00 - just pay pet license - dog license is $20; cat license is $5.00; all other fees may apply.

Fluffy and fun is the best description for Scar. Scar is a two (2) year old, tan, female, German Shepherd. Scar was brought into the care center as the owner had too many dogs. Scar was unfortunately surrendered with her puppies, which all have already been adopted.

Scar was shy when she first arrived but after getting some love and attention she quickly warmed up. She was named Scar by her original owner due to a scar on top of her head. Scar is sweet and funny. She knows “sit”, “down”, and “shake”. She quite enjoys getting treats and is considered very food motivated. Scar has a fun playful side as well and would love to keep you smiling and snuggling with her fluffiness.

Maybe this floofball will put a Scar on your heart. Scar can be viewed at the Palmdale Animal Care Center during its open hours of 11am to 5pm Monday through Saturday.
