Everyone meet Pirate 🏴☠️
13yr old GRADE, 14.3 hh gelding that’s the barn favorite!!! He’s the first one I choose when we need to get a job done on the ranch, just go for a fun trail ride or if I want to dabble in some two rein ranch classes; this gelding does it all!
Pirate is exceptional in all aspects! He carries himself with ease and does what’s asked of him with no hesitation!!! Pirate is absolutely 110% trained and proven in 4H/ranch versatility! He’s an awesome candidate for the two rein, ranch rail, halter and even some gymkhana events! Pirate has an awesome smooth jog and picks up both leads with ease making him have the PERFECT transitions that judges look for! Pirate is broke in the sides, has a huge stop when you sit and say whoa, and backs up collected like one should! This horse is one of a kind! He will go fast or slow on the trail; walking over logs, down trees, crosses creaks, and has even been on a few hog hunting adventures here on our ranch! Pirate has been used to brand, gather and sort many pairs. Hes absolutely broke more ways than one making him suitable for just about anyone! Pirate is sweet and kind with phenomenal ground manners! Picks up all four feet, easy to groom/saddle/bathe, and is a gentleman to catch! If I had to pick a horse for a first time family/ ranch rider or someone who wants to show but can’t afford a xx,### horse, HE FITS THE BILL! Pirate isn’t spooky, we have carried tarps, flags, you name it he’s seen and done it. He’s been in a few parades and local Ranch rodeos. pirate it’s up-to-date on shots, worming and farrier work. Pirate is fat and healthy but does require a little maintenance to stay sound: with that being said he’s completely free of anything in the videos. We are open to a PPE to determine what would work best for him with the discipline you’re interested in purchasing him for.
