Bluebonnet Arabian Horse Club had their September meeting at the IHOP in Hillsboro. Several members attended and several new members were added. Everyone got to know each other and several things were discussed regarding horse shows, trail rides, parades and especially the nomination of officers for next year.

Bluebonnet members and potential members met on Friday at the IHOP in Hillsboro for an impromptu get together to discuss bringing the club back up and going. We are excited to bring these new members into the club and looking forward to having some new adventures. We are having an official meeting at the IHOP in Hillsboro on Tuesday September 8th at 7pm. Gather up anyone that wants to be included. I can't wait to get started!

Bluebonnet Arabian Horse Club will be holding their monthly meeting on Monday, March 18 at Napoli's Italian restaurant in Corsicana starting at 6:30 for dinner and the meeting will begin at 7pm. Come and get to meet other Arabian Horse owners to learn more about Arabians, showing and trail rides. We hold horse shows that are open to all breed of horses. Learn to show and trail ride also.

BAHC held their February meeting in Corsicana on Tuesday. Discussion was held about our horse shows and trail rides. Steve and Dorothy of Athens came to our meeting to meet everyone and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. Hope to see them back again for the rest of our meetings. Ann Herring was elected secretary in place of Julie Mach as she is going to medical college in the evenings for the rest of the year. Congratulations Julie and best wishes for your success. Our first show will be at Mystic on April 27th so plan to be there for another year of fun shows. Watch our FB site for details. Our website is in the process of a remake, so keep up to date on FB.

Bluebonnet Arabian Horse Club meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Corsicana at the LA Paradera Mexican restaurant. Dinner at 6:30pm and business meeting at 7pm. Lots to discuss and vote on. Horse show dates and location to be determined. Come and meet the BOD and members. Need not have Arabians to join. We do lots of things besides horse shows..trail rides...kids meet and have fun with horses.

Bluebonnet Arabian Horse Club's annual year end awards banquet will take place onTuesday evening, December 11, 2012 at 6:30 pm at the Volunteer Fire Department, 30000 FM 429N, in Able Springs, which is north of Terrell, TX.

Please bring a covered dish and/or a dessert to share with others. Club will provide the meat and drinks. Please RSVP Carrie at 214-418-1328 or Donna at 972-658-2000.

Come and share the excitement when the Super Horse award and the Bob Catlin revolving trophies are awarded, along with the Volunteer of the Year award is given.
