Would you be interested in a two day Mitch White field seminar and/or WC/WCX at Turnagain Pass, July 18-20, 2025?

The two day field handlers seminar will be conducted by Mitch White [https://gamekprs.com/](https://gamekprs.com/) on Friday and Saturday, July 18 & 19, 2025. Price for the two day seminar is $350 per working spot (12 max) and $100 for auditing (unlimited). Any retriever breed can participate.

AND/OR

WC/WCX, is a rudimentary retriever field test on Sunday, July 20. https://grca.org/events/field-events-field-training/wcwcx-and-junior-hunting-tests-comparison/ This title is offered by retriever breed clubs. We, Midnight Sun Golden Retriever Club, have Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) approval to use dead birds- no live flyers. We figure we could accept about 15 WC entries and about 12 WCX entries. Entry fees could be about $90 per WC entry and about $110 per WCX entry, all subject to change. Well, with the New Year I wanted to make things easier for me. My back ain't like it used to be.
Dang age. So I repurposed 2 pallets and made "my version" of a FF table. I can walk around it as necessary. When not needed I can lift it out of the way. It's wide enough for dogs to turn around on. I can go through the motions and the dogs head is up enough that I don't need to bend over.
Then when ready they can step off and do the same on the floor.

Looking for feedback for a possible water seminar next summer. The focus would be swimby and cheating singles. Then drills for channel, shoreline and point concepts for marks and blinds. Simple tune up.
Prerequisites will be retrievers that are confident on noncheaty water marks to include memory birds. In the yard; solid on T, TT, 5 handed casting, able to run a basic taught blind with guns and diversions.

For those finished dogs not traveling out with me this winter. Keep them sharp on there skills.
Also Great for young dogs old enough for formal obedience and introductory field work.

Started Class (Joanne Hanscom, Lise Shore, & Rose Munafo)– Dogs and handlers that want to get started and potentially run a Junior Hunt Test this summer or just to have a more obedient dog.

Transition 1(John Drennan) – Dogs that are force fetched, have a solid whistle sit and are collar conditioned.

Transition 2 (Scott Anderson) – Dogs must handle and be force fetched. The handlers must commit to participating in higher level stakes, such as a Master, Qualifying, Amateur and Open Field Trial.
