Say hello to Bernard—or as we lovingly call him, Bernie!

This handsome 5-year-old Lab mix has been stealing hearts at Downtown Dogs for over 3 amazing years (how lucky are we?!). 💕

Bernie found his forever home through the Humane Society in Milpitas, and his family hit the jackpot with this gentle, playful boy. He’s not just a pro at spreading joy—he’s also mastered impressive commands like Sit, Shake, Bow, and the oh-so-cute “Under” (where he sneaks between your legs like a total superstar). 🎓🐕

When it’s time to play, Bernie’s world revolves around tug toys and tennis balls. He’s undefeated in tug-of-war… unless you count the time the toy gave up and snapped in half! 😅💪

By day, Bernie’s all about staying active and having fun with his furry pals. But by night, he’s a certified professional cuddler, turning every couch into the coziest spot on Earth. 🛋️🐾

Bernard, you’re the total package—playful, sweet, and endlessly loveable. We’re thrilled to honor you as our January Top Dog! 🏆🐶

Say hello to Uni, our pawsome Top Dog for January! This adorable 3-year-old American Eskimo has been a shining star at Downtown Dogs since day one! 🌟🐶

Uni joined his family as an 8-week-old fluffball from a breeder in San Diego, and he’s been spreading joy and smiles ever since. 💕

Not only is Uni cute, but he’s also super clever! He’s mastered tricks like sit, roll over, shake, sit pretty, and even balancing on his hind legs with “up.” 🐕‍🦺✨

Treats? Yes, please—Uni loves showing off his smarts to earn a tasty reward! 🍖 When it’s playtime, you’ll find him tugging or fetching plushies like the pro he is. 🧸🎾

While Uni might let out a bark or two at strangers passing by his apartment, don’t let that fool you! Once you’re in his circle, he’s a playful, loving fluffball who steals hearts everywhere he goes. 🥰
