I just wanted to thank everyone at the Iowa State Fair for giving me the opportunity to judge the Society Horse Show this year. I had a blast! The venue was fun, the facilities were nice and the staff that runs the horse show did an incredible job. And, I got a small bit interview and got to do a small voice over for Iowa PBS when they covered the show. All good fun!!

Sheer excitement and unmatched elegance is on display in the Society Horse Show at the Jacobson Exhibition Center.

Good morning! I have a lot of nice horses available for sale at the Mid-America Horse Show Association Signature Horse Show.
A beautiful bay horse that drives and would make a great western pleasure horse.
A beautiful chestnut pleasure mare that is fully equitated, but could be shown in English Pleasure or Country Pleasure. Winner of many equitation classes.
A nice horse for your first time horse owner. 3 gaited or 5 gaited. Show or Country. Even equitates! Bomb proof!
A nice, nice hunt seat horse that is just the best to ride and show. Fully equitated.
A fun chestnut pleasure gelding for a rider that wants something fun and sporty to ride. Country or English pleasure.
And, the best park pleasure gelding that is incredibly gifted and fun to ride.

Kudos to this young lady….only riding this horse about 6 or 7 times, and attempting the Amateur Park Class at Lexington Junior League. Second place vote in the qualifier. Need I say more? We were so proud:)

Our Summer Solstice Horse Show Association LLC Horse Show is just around the corner on June 22 and June 23rd. This fun little show is MASHA, IASPHA, ASAW, and IHPBA rated. This is a Monarch qualifier, Louisville qualifier, ASHBA Star Show....whew, that was a list to write!
We have limited stabling for stalls.
An indoor and outdoor arena.
A great concession stand.
The Horse Emporium will be there.
Friday stabling is available.
We have camper hookup--and you can camp with Bob and I!
This is the "B" show that you remembered when you were showing as a kid, at the smaller fair venues.
If you would like to sponsor a class or two, let me know as I can even invoice those who are not in the area, or the state, or the country!
This show benefits the New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding Foundation.
AND, there are 4 $200 JACKPOT classes as well! What fun! Woohoo!

Madison Classic Horse Show Recap—
We didn’t bring a lot of riders to this horse show, but the ones that came made us extremely proud. First, Allie Kwolek and “It’s Preston,” owned by Dana Velkovich, won unanimously in the competitive Novice/Jr Park Pleasure Class in their only appearance. Mia Vasic showed to everyone’s surprise in the Equitation division, “Warp Speed Ahead.” They finished up the show with a third place finish in the Saddleseat Equitation Championship with some very tough competition with a near perfect workout. “Scottie” continues to amaze us with his ability to morph into whatever we want him to be!
Our two academy riders did us equally proud as Eeva Hindman won two seconds in her Academy W/T/C classes and a fourth in her championship. Our most improved academy rider from last year is Sofia Dow who placed in her class as well. It’s exciting to see these two ladies continue to grow as riders!
Thank you to our riders, their parents and Allie Kwolek who made this show a success, as our other staff who continue to keep the home fires burning. You are all the best! I could never do any of this without you!!

We are so excited to have Midd's Wild West at our facility! This horse was purchased by the entire Castillo family for Celia Castillo. A very special thanks to Virgil Helm Stable and Abby Mutrux for all your help with the purchase of this horse. We are looking forward to see what the future will bring to Celia and her beautiful new horse!

So now I have evidence! I have told my riders over the years that there were classes at Parkway that had classes with 24 plus riders in an arena that is smaller than what we have at Palos now. (Now you know why I never am for splitting academy classes—old school). Here is the evidence.

A very fun and happy day at the Summer Solstice Horse Show Association LLC at the Fox Valley Saddle Association. Everyone did great from customers to academy riders. Special thanks to our judge, Donna Pettry-Smith, Sue Hillegonds, Maggie Kuenking, Nancy Plucinski and Marilou Wilschke for all your help and support. And, the biggest thank you always goes out to our staff, Allie Kwolek, Anne Conway Welch, Patty Del Favero, Stacey Kreiniker Mudgett and Lisa Snyder. Without a fabulous staff, we are nothing.
Today, we showed in the indoor arena, tomorrow we tackle the outdoor ring!
