FOUNDED: 2010

MISSION:
PAWS is a 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit, dedicated to saving and improving the lives of the shelter animals at the Pampa animal shelter. We make adoptions, reclaims and transfers of animals to no-kill rescues happen, and provide lifesaving vaccines and medical care for at risk animals in the shelter and community. PAWS encourages, educates and runs a low income spay/neuter program to reduce the number of unwanted pets.

Live long and Prosper, hey that sounds like a good motto to me! My namesake sure had a lot of wisdom, just like me! We even have the same ears but I’m handsomer, if I must say so myself. I really would like a forever home on this terra firma. I would like to explore this galaxy, that galaxy and mostly your galaxy! I’m very loving and like to be around people for all the intergalactic attention I can get. So zip on down and let’s get going with some space adventurers.

Here is what the crew has to say about me:

Dexter is a fun loving pup. He has the whole world as his oyster. Dexter gets along with other dogs as well. Dexter is about 2 years old and 45 pounds. He is also handsome with his spots. Come and see this cute little package today!

I have blossomed into a cutie that loves to be loved. I'm the playful puppy that I should be. I must confess that the April showers did bring in this May flower! I was hoping it wouldn't be in the shelter though! Its getting to be the end of October and I'm starting to wilt that I have not been one of the lucky ones to be picked! I need to find a new patch of terra firma to call my own. If you will plant a seed of love (but forget the watering), I can grow into a beautiful companion.

Here is what the crew has to say about me:

Well, I have been enjoying the blue skies way too long since I was found on the lam! I must admit, I didn't expect to wind up on the shelter though but being feed is a good thing. I'm a loving and friendly little girl that weights 54 pounds. I also enjoy the company of other four legged pooches. So come down let me win you over with my sweet personality!

Yah-ah-Teh, my name is Lydia Little Deer because I’m as sweet as can be. I’m a laid back girl that is adjusting to life being a jailbird. I’m the bravest out of jailmates so I’ll be ready to strike out on my own in no time. I must be Native American since I’m so brave. Yeah, leave it to a female to be the leader of the pack. I have a beautiful coat, I’m a looker all right. Can you say, “Indian Princess”. So don’t wait until the Pow Wow is over and get this ball of fluff.

Here is what the crew has to say about me:
Lydia is a gorgeous Husky/Shepherd mix. She is around 3 years old and 49 pounds. She gets along with other dogs. She was found on the lam so her background is a mystery! So now, she is just waiting for her second chance of a loving family.

My name is Callier Chipper and I’ll be the skipper of your clipper. I’m just the chip off the old block. I’m a little chipper that needs a mister to navigate the true course in my life. I promise I won’t be a nipper. You will just flip over this little chipper and in return I promise to love you this big!!! I’m chipper in the mornings and I’m chipper in the evenings. So don’t be an old dipper and sail over here to flip over me.

Here is what the crew has to say about me:

Callie is such a sweet girl. She is 10 months old and 42 pounds. She was donated by an elderly man that realized he couldn't keep up with a 10 month old pup. She gets along with other dogs. All we know is that she will make one great addition to a family.
