Kyle is learning to train Effie w her food to come up on the couch to visit with him. This has become her safe happy place!

I get the privilege of staying a week in St Augustine training w Kyle and his soon to be service dog Effie! He hasnt seen her in a month. Its unbelievable how big she has gotten!! Here’s to a great week of training!!

Learning to lay on her spot while out at Restaurants can be challenging w especially when floor is raised up and she has to lay on lower flooring. Repetition, repetition, repetition!

Effie got to go to gym w me today. She actually laid on me while I was on water massage table. It was loud but she did great and eventually fell off asleep.

Effie went shopping w me and Aunt Diane today. Its important to take them everywhere while training even though it was raining. She didnt seem to bulk at any of it either! Great training day today!!

Service Dog Effie is out and about town! Went to Cahall’s yesterday. She never left her spot even though she drew a crowd of people who wanted to talk to her.

Took “Effie” out for her SD training at the gym. She did awesome! Stayed on her spot marker I
Laid down for her no matter where I put it.
Its important to desensitize her w noises so taking her to the gym was perfect start!

These Boots were made for walkin! That’s just what they’ll do!
First time for Service Dog in training Effie to wear them and she did fantastic!!

“Effie” got an A+ today at vets receiving her last set of vaccines. I think if I turned my head the vet in pic would of stole her!
I made sure I exposed her to as much as possible while there having everyone give her a treat. She now thinks the vets is a Pez dispenser!!
She even got to meet her first cat and that went well.

Meet Effie! She is a Goldendoodle who are training as a service dog for a young man in a wheelchair.
Big shout out to Wilson Creek Kennels for breeding such a wonderful pup!
