What an amazing day! Sponsors, volunteers and a few board members stepped up to make this one heck of a day! This parade means allot to me born and raised here in pleasantville. I have rode this parade route many times over my life and look forward to many more times to. Everyone done a fantastic job today. We got all kinds of ribbons 1st place in group! Two 2nd place ribbons, 3rd, 4th and 5th! Thank you to all that came you guys rock and this shows it. I’m proud of you all. Next parade we will have even more people.

Did you know that a horse with a moderate hair coat starts requiring additional calories for body temperature regulation when the outside temperature drops to approximately 50°F?

As the temperatures start to drop, especially overnight, it's important to remember that cold weather prompts special considerations for your horse's diet and care. This is particularly important when it comes to the older members of the herd; consult your primary horse doctor to formulate a plan to keep your horses happy and healthy this fall and winter!

Hey everyone I want to try and raise some funds for beauty. Beauty was diagnosed with Anaplasmosis and has been under vet care. Vet care hasn't been cheap and she needs 1 more medication. Please consider donating to beauty's medication. Remaining balance needed is $200.

Update on Beauty.... Ms Beauty has had some struggles this week but she is making a turn around. She was anxious to eat this morning for sure. Still challenging to get her to eat 75 pills but it seems she's enjoying apples oats and brown sugar with them. It seems to be the only way she will take them. Beauty has developed a large lump on her chest. This is possibly from her going down when she did or a time she may of went down from her being unbalanced and we didn't see it. It doesn't hurt her but will possibly need drained. Either way Chris and Nola have been working to get her better. Please direct questions to myself for any other info

I want to say thank you to everyone that helped yesterday with everything that went on. Even the wonderful volunteers stepped up to help. It takes an army to get a percheron draft horse up and we ladies did it. To everyone focusing on the barn thank you so much. To Christine Wigren and Chris Mcintire thank you for being there helping me get her moving till the vet got there. We didn't have many show up yesterday but to everyone I am truly greatful. The past year has been so rough on Nola's Angels & Horse Rescue losing 4 lives in a year that yesterday sent my anxiety up not wanting to lose another. The fear came out of me and strive to just keep her going.
Thank you Liz Johnson Kaltenbach and Ken Kaltenbach Jr. Natalie Torres also Addison Shaw also all her friends that all helped sorry I am unable to tag everyone they aren't on my list.
I was up several times last night checking on her every 2 hours and Beauty was still standing. I'm greatful to have you all in my life as well these horses lives. Everyone one of you!

Our haunted barn ended with an emergency vet visit for beauty. Beauty had 3 ticks on her the other day then started acting strange last night. Ms Beauty has echoplasmosis. She has now 3 medications and observations next 24 hours.

Due to the death of my cousins Travis and Skye I will not be available today. I will be attending Travis funeral today. Nola’s Angels will be closed to visitors except the sponsors and board members.
I’m checking out for the day.
