He needs a home can someone help him with a Christmas miracle. Beauty came from the same place with horrible feet and skinny.

LOCATED IN CANFIELD OHIO
SAM- 16 year old Percheron gelding, 17.2-3 hands. This guy is massive! Broke to all farm machinery. Has a wire cut in back right foot and it’s stinky, looks very thrushy as well, doesn’t want to be too great with his feet either. . Has a goopy left eye too.

Update a big thank you to Michelle Pike Peterson for donating the fees for beauty and Simon. Happy holidays to you and your family.

Beauty and Simon will be going Friday to get their feet trimmed and shoes reset and/or put back on. The bill will be approximately $140 if you would like to donate please let Nola L Anthony Perrin know and you can donate to one of the apps. All proceeds go to the horses.

I love the horses new fleece blankets for inside. They had received a wonderful grant to get winter supplies and they are having the best holiday this year. I can't help but look back at the loves that we have lost in this barn in the past year Ray, Cassidy, Buddy, Azizah and my Pecos. Last night we lost our sheep named Ivory. Through all the loss here at Nola's Angels & Horse Rescue we need to pick up the pieces and move forward. New year a new start! We are making some changes this year so stay tuned to see what we may have in store. Don't forget to subscribe to our page.

If you are no longer a sponsor please make arrangements to pick up your grooming kits. If you do not wish to keep them and donate them to the horses please let me know. If not picked up in 2 weeks they will be donated to the horses. Very sorry I have to be this way but I only have so much space for the sponsors that are still present here at Nola's Angels & Horse Rescue.

Sponsors and volunteers don't forget our Christmas party starts at 5pm. BBQ chicken and Mac & cheese is what I'm making. Drinks are provided as well. Yes your family is invited as well. Please bring a dish or dessert to share. We are also asking you bring a food item to donate to a family in need....see you at 5pm.

First step of changing these horses lives. I been writing grants and got our winter grant for supplies and hay. Each horse got a fleece stable and bag to put it in. The fleece blankets will be used inside and can be used as a liner under their turn out blankets. Also our wonderful neighbors Larissa Cochran Enlow and Jeff purchased 2 organizers and fly bonnets for them. What a wonderful Christmas for them. Thank you to the foundation that granted them the funds and the Endlows for everything you have done to make their Christmas special. Spring time grant letters will be next.

Starting in April I will be looking for myself a horse of my own. As most of you know pecos wasn't a rescue horse but has rescued me more times then I can count. Such a horse will be hard to find. Pecos loved the kids, trail rode, and always ready to ride. My bond with pecos will be hard to find because he would follow me to the end of the earth. I need a horse that won't just take off. My budget will be $1000. I can't have the nonprofit raise these funds because it will be my personal horse. Must be over 10 years of age. I know allot of horse people on here if you know of such a horse please let me know.

Winter stall available I will keep this spot open 1 week or till it’s filled. $300 a month but you provide your grain. Blanketing will be free. Hay is provided unless you require a special hay price won’t change. We are a horse rescue so we aren’t able to turn our horses every day. I really don’t like to see an empty stall when there is someone in the cold. Hence the reason this will only be available a week. 814-730-5666
