Busy day yesterday with Sienna, Maggie, Atlas and Gemma! The day ended with meeting Sissy from Rescue K-911 who is up for adoption! She is definitely a cattle dog mix pup who will need an active sport or detection home. Letโ€™s find her a home before Christmas!

Then this is the class for you! In this class, we will go over various cooperative care skills that make going to the groomers or the veterinarian a less stressful experience for you and your dog. Some skills covered in include:

๐ŸŸ  Accepting nails trims

๐ŸŸ  Exposure to muzzles and cone of shame

๐ŸŸ  standing still for shot/ blood draws/ stethoscope

๐ŸŸ  and much more!

Cost is $300 and class starts on December 9th!

Need a Drop-in class to keep your dogs skills sharp this winter? Consider our Skills, Drills & games class.

This is a Drop-in style class so that means you can sign up for one or all six time. Each class is $50. It will be held indoors at the indoor dog park space at the second cup cat cafe in Olathe, KS.

This class is appropriate for dogs who know their basics like sit, down, stay, come, place, leave it, etc and are dog social to dog tolerant.

In this class, we will do drills and games that will help practice your dogs skills and manners and proof them around a variety of distractions.

And if you sign up this thanksgiving week and choose to do all six classes, we have $50 off special! So instead of $300 for all 6 it would be $250!

Do we have board and trains? No. What do we have? Our homeschooled hounds program! Our homeschooled hounds program is an alternative to board and trains where over a 5 or 10 day time frame we come to your house and do the training at your house Monday thru Friday for 2 to 3 hours a day depending on the dogs energy and activity level and work on desired behaviors and work on solving problem behaviors. Then after that time is up we teach you what we have taught them and how to keep those skills strong! Our past clients that have enjoyed this program are those who have a busy work schedule, but need a good foundation laid for their dog or puppy or might also need to work on behavior modification for issues like reactivity or fearfulness. Ask us about our homeschool hounds program! Maverick is sure enjoying it! We come to your house and train your dog 2 or 3 days of the week working on specific training goals we set up with you before hand. Then on a Friday or a weekend day we teach you the commands we taught them! We lay the foundation while you continue the communication!
