BC Bunnies !!SALES POLICY!!

1. BC Bunnies retains the right to refuse a sale without cause.
2. All rabbits are sold on a first come first served basis.
3.

A nationally competitive rabbitry in East Central Kansas, specializing in self and shaded Mini Rex, with small project herds of Rhinelanders and tan pattern Jersey Woolies. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required within 24 hours, with the remaining balance due at time of pick up or delivery to a transport service.
4. BC Bunnies' rabbit names/tattoos and pedigrees must not be altered at any time

after purchase.
5. All rabbits are sold free of disease/illness and DQ free (unless noted) at time of sale.
6. Refunds or replacement animals are not offered once the rabbit leaves the care of BC Bunnies. If a rabbit becomes injured, ill or otherwise unavailable, BC Bunnies will always offer a replacement. However, due to limited breeding, a replacement may not always be immediately available. In the event a replacement animal is not available, a full refund will be issued.
7. Transport is 100% the responsibility of the buyer, from arrangement to fees to care. We recommend Parsons, My Bunny Village, Bunny Butt and Gypsy & the Hare.
8. We rarely offer direct pet sales. However, if you are looking for a pet do not hesitate to reach out. Pet quality animals are sold tattooed, but without pedigrees.
9. *Effective 5/1/2022* Due to the rise in feed costs, there will be a boarding fee of $5/day for purchased animals. This is even if transportation or meeting time/date has been set up. Boarding fee begins 72 hours after purchase.

Freya and I sat down today after school and planned out her KSRBA and ARBA educational contests projects for the 2025 season. It looks like a lot once we get it on paper, but planning early and knocking them out before the summer seems to help lessen the stress of upcoming deadlines. Another benefit to getting these projects done early is being able to use county fair as a dry run. Seeing how the judges react to different exhibits allows her to tweak and adjust anything that may have not gone over so well. I'll list the categories below and where they will be entered. Titles and relative ideas are being kept a secret at this time 😉. You'll just have to stay tuned for updates if any of these make you curious.

This list does not include other County Fair projects she plans to work on, but this list does take a big chunk of those projects off her to do list once they are completed. She's a busy, talented girl that really shines in the educational contests.

Wishing they were solid, but thankful Freya has them in her sable point program.

Creekside 4CS22 (aka Niko) is a broken sable point buck we brought home from convention. Beautiful, compact little buck that we are excited to start using soon. His first round of does will be Creekside Thistle (sable point), Ellison Acres Oakley (sable) and Ellison Acres Maple Sugar (tort).

BC's Wishful Thinking is a homegrown senior doe out of MR Golden Grahams and by BC's Manifesto. She is bred back to Manifesto for her first litter of kits.

Baby Omelette enjoying her crunchies tonight. Huevos is producing a ton of milk, so Omelette is only getting enough grain to keep her out of her mom's way long enough for her to eat. Disappointing there weren't more in this litter, but we plan to rebreed Huevos soon.

Went out to the barn tonight to turn out the lights and do a bedtime check and discovered that Freya's white jersey wooly doe had spontaneously aborted her babies. She was 7 days away from her due date. They looked perfect, just too early 😪. We are going to give her a round of antibiotics before we try again. She was bred to SS Thornton, the grandsire to Freya's new junior buck/showmanship rabbit, SS Monty.

A hard lesson to learn, but Freya handled it like a champ. She's grown so much in her project and was more concerned about the well-being of her doe than the loss of the litter.

I didn't forget to grab at least one picture today! It's show day, folks! Freya just completed her royalty exam, and now we will be splitting our time between the mini rex area and the wool room with the jersey woolies. Rhinelanders won't show until tomorrow.

Already had a great time touring the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory this morning! On to check on bunnies, grab something to eat and then onto a fun afternoon at the Speed Art Museum!

Halfway there! Going to be a late night, but it's so worth it! We can't wait to see everyone there!
