New fish are in, tanks are fully stocked and listed below. A few things we’d like to announce, firstly our additional system of 24 ten-gallon tanks are almost cycled and ready for fish. Secondly, we feel word of mouth is by far our best way to advertise, so to show our appreciation we feel our customers who do that should be rewarded. This week we are doing a Guppy giveaway, all you need to do to earn a free Guppy is follow, like, and share this post. Just so I can keep track of who has shared if you would please comment share on this post and I’ll be sure to hold a guppy for you.

Lastly, we are going to start a referral program to earn you and your friend’s free fish. With every purchase made through a referral will earn you and the person you referred $5 store credit. This store credit can be used right away or saved and used for larger purchases. Be sure to sign up next time you’re in. Per usual, we appreciate the continued love and support! With 2 weeks remaining of our back-to-school sale, this week will be the best deals we will have to offer. The number of items and size of discounts will be limited next week. We have started construction of an additional tank system made up of 24 ten-gallon tanks. They are drilled and we have begun plumbing them up. We are trying to clear out our fish related dry goods to move in a different direction, which will allow us to provide a larger selection of foods, medicines, water treatments, décor, and equipment. With that being said we will not be ordering any additional dry goods until we reach that point to do an overhaul of what we provide. As always, we appreciate the continued love and support!

School is officially back in session! Now that all the back to school running around is done, we are starting our back-to-school sale today. Each week for the remainder of August we will be having different sales announced on Wednesday. As we stated before, 20% off all sales during this event will go towards donating school supplies to our local school. Message us with any questions or special requests you may have, make sure and stop by and see us! As always, we appreciate the continued love and support!

We are also accepting donations or donated school supplies if you’re interested in doing so. If you wanted to donate but do not want to do so through us, we encourage you to make those donations directly to your local school. Any donation no matter how small can be beneficial to the teachers and their students, most teachers purchase extra supplies out of their own pocket. I personally was a student that didn’t have the means to always have the school supplies I needed. It can be embarrassing for some kids to always need to ask to borrow pencils or paper, I know I hated being that kid growing up. Donating supplies can ease some stress from those kids and teachers. I appreciate those that can help.

Here this coming week we will have some back-to-school sales, but today we wanted to announce for teachers, we will be offering 50% off all Betta’s for those that may be interested in having a class pet. Last year we had several teachers come purchase Betta’s for their classrooms, so this year we’ve decided to offer them half off as a thank you to all those teachers and their dedication to their students.

Teachers purchase things for their students and their classrooms out of their own pocket to help better educate the future generations. To help ease that, this upcoming month for every purchase made we will be setting back 20% to buy school supplies to donate. We encourage those who can, to donate school supplies to your local school. As always, thank you for your continued support, we hope everyone enjoys the remainder of summer break!

Another friendly reminder we will be closed tomorrow Saturday July 20th, we will be setting up a couple tables at the swap in Evansville. I will post the swap info in this post for those that may be interested in checking it out. Got a smaller order in today, mainly to take to the swap but they all are available today and today only. Just a reminder we will be closed Saturday July 20th for the fish swap in Evansville. With that being said, we ordered about 250 Betta, which we bought for the swap but are available for purchase today and Friday.

They are temporarily housed in cups as they will be bagged and boxed for the swap.

We just got back with some plecos! We got a few bristlenose blue eyed super red, bristlenose longfin green dragons, bristlenose longfin golden green dragons, and chocolate leopard spot. I went ahead and got as many green dragons as we could. We will be open Friday and Saturday noon until 6pm and then closed Sunday the 7th.

Couple of things, I wanted to give another reminder that tomorrow Saturday June 29th we will be closing early at 4pm. We are open today, we will have Starr heating and cooling work trucks in our parking lot today, they are replacing our air conditioning unit. So please excuse the noise and mess, I promise it’ll be worth it!! We are offering 30% off all fish related dry goods today and tomorrow, so come stock up on food, water conditioner, medications, and equipment!

We will be getting a double fish order next week since we didn’t get one this past week. As always thank you for the continued love and support! We will be closing early Saturday June 29th at 4pm for my daughter’s birthday.

I also wanted to give a heads up that Saturday July 20th will be closed; we are getting a table for the swap in Evansville. I will be posting date, time, and location information for those that may be interested in going to check it out, we have heard nothing but great things and decided to participate this time since we missed the last one.

We will be open tomorrow at noon until 5pm. We will be keeping the same hours we have been running. Again, we are running at less than half our normal amount of tanks. We plan to continue adding more tanks as things start to even out and get back to normal. Unfortunately we do not have a time frame on when everything will be done. So until then please excuse the mess!

The plan is still to reopen this coming Wednesday, it's currently 11:15pm and we're still here putting in the time to try our best to have as much set up by the 5th. I wish this was a "excuse the mess" kind of situation, but it's looking more like "excuse our disaster for the remainder of the month" kind of situation. I just wanted to give an update on how things were coming together. We're only going to be able to start out with about 1/3 of our original tanks, but hope to be able to build things back up.

We started out with 12 tanks in our basement a little over a year ago, so we did it once, surely we can do it again! Like I've stated, I like to be up front and honest, and honestly I'm almost embarrassed to reopen in our current position, but we will do everything to make it a temporary situation. The picture below is our shop right now, so you can actually see what work needs to happen to open Wednesday. We can't wait to see you all again real soon!
