Go K9Pink™ with StayDog®
Go K9Pink is a year-long to raise money in support of the National Canine Cancer Foundation’s search for a cure. This campaign idea was something the StayDog owner’s began thinking about as a way to continue our support of the health and safety of pets and their owners. It was not till the cause hit home, when Sammy, beloved pet of StayDog Owner Bill Annesley, lost a short

battle with Canine Cancer, that we became determined to do our part to find a cure. Each generous contribution funds grants for the scientific efforts of cancer researchers who are working to save lives, and find a cure for cancer. During the Go K9Pink with StayDog Campaign, StayDog will make a donation for every new customer who gets a professionally installed pet containment system from StayDog. Our installations will be done with our specially designed K9Pink Wire. In addition StayDog will make a donation for every purchase of any of our K9Pink designated products made. Schedule your fence estimate or browse our K9Pink Products and help us with our fight to find a cure for canine cancer. Located in Malvern, PA, StayDog has been installing and servicing Invisible Fence® Brand Systems in Chester County, Delware County, Montgomery County, Philadelphia County and Delaware, since 1974. As the very first Invisible Fence® dealership originating pet containment, StayDog has accumulated the knowledge, experience, and wisdom that have helped StayDog consistently produce the highest quality standards in the industry. StayDog owners, Bill Anneslesy, Jeff Hanhausen, Kelly Cancelmo, and John Dehaven, have expanded the business beyond pet containment to offer other products and services designed for pet owners who deeply care about the safety and wellbeing of their pets. Monday Member Spotlight with Jennifer Lynn Photography and Jennifer Jackson!

Jennifer is local free lance photographer. She has been in the photography business since 2014. Jennifer has been working at Cube Smart in Exton for the past four years but her true passion is photography and DOGS. One of the biggest reasons Jennifer wanted to get into photography was because she loved the idea of being able to capture all the beautiful things in life which people want to remember the most. She has spent the last five years photographing weddings, engagements, birth announcement, headshots, Christmas cards, proms, birthdays, family pictures, and yes PETS.

While Jennifer has always been a dog lover, it wasn’t until she rescued her pit/hound Mix, Meg, from To Love A Canine (TLC), that she realized how much she enjoyed photographing dogs, and other family pets. Meg’s huge personality and love for the camera brought her to realize just how fun it was to capture the ever amusing character of our pets.

When she has some down time Jennifer enjoys spending time with her beautiful four year old daughter Ava Marie or catching a Broadway show. If anyone is looking for someone to capture their special moments in life (or special pets) you can contact her by email at [email protected] or on Facebook at Jennifer Lynn Photography.

Kathleen Begley , owner of Sleeping with Dogs, loves, loves, loves dogs. Anyone who doesn't, she thinks, has never had or been around one. She has been blessed with 10 dogs during her lifetime, and has seen them through diabetes, heart failures, trachea collapses and various cancers. She is very experienced giving medicines orally or by injection. She has read dozens of books on caring for dogs, and remains cool, calm, and collected in any medical situation.
Kathleen began her career as a journalist, writing for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Chicago Sun Times, and Seattle Times. She later became a professional speaker and has delivered seminars throughout the world. In between, she wrote five books and taught communications and entrepreneurship at 12 colleges and universities, including Penn State Great Valley. For more than a decade, she wrote a weekly column for the Daily Local News in West Chester; many of her articles were about dogs. Kathleen earned her bachelor's at Temple, her master's at Villanova, and her doctorate at Delaware. She currently teaches at Immaculata.
In August 2018, Kathleen was involved in a horrific traffic accident while on a speaking job in New York City. The mishap resulted in seven surgeries and numerous hospitalizations. During her recovery, her three dogs, Mikey, Vanna and Abby, all died. Those losses were worse than the accident. During her lengthy recovery, Kathleen got the idea for Sleeping with Dogs, a boarding alternative for shy animals who thrive best in their own homes while their parents are away. To combat abandonment issues, Kathleen moves into her client's residence and stays 24/7 with their pets. She literally sleeps in the same bed with their dogs. She even gives the pets a daily nighttime massage and reads them a bedtime story. A few months ago, Kathleen adopted two seven-year-old Shih Tzus from Tiny Paws Rescue. Their names are Lenny and Squiggy, taken from characters on the old TV show Laverne and Shirley. And, yes, both dogs sleep with her on a Tempurpedic mattress in a king-size bed in her home near Malvern. Kathleen considers herself one very lucky dog.

Jessica DePaul

Jessica's background is evidence of her love for pets. Jessica graduated from Penn State University in 2010 with a BS in Animal Bioscience. After graduation, Jessica got her hands-on experience in the Animal Science field working at Warminster Veterinary Hospital and Hickory Veterinary Hospital.
Jessica joined the StayDog team in 2012 as the Marketing Coordinator for Invisible Fence by StayDog and a Pet Management Consultant. Since joining StayDog Jessica has become an invaluable asset to the StayDog family as well as to the 1000s of pet owners she works with. Still passionate about working directly with pets Jessica became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers in 2013. Jessica also manages the local Project Breathe initiative, equipping local fire houses and emergency responders with pet oxygen masks.
Jessica spends her spare time rehabilitating dogs that would otherwise have been put to sleep. She has worked with over a handful of dogs and found them the perfect loving homes. Her four dogs, Lucas, Wyatt, Mollie & Susie were lucky enough to have been saved by Jessica and now enjoy a loving home, along with their feline brother Francis. What other free time Jessica has spent helping out the Main Line Pet Community, posting pictures of her “bitches” (the dogs), doting after her adorable Godson Colton, and not so subtly hinting to her future husband that the ring better be coming soon!

𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩! with Kelly Cancelmo and StayDog

From as early as she could remember, Kelly always knew that she wanted to work with animals. She grew up on a small farm in Malvern with several horses and many different dogs. While she loved the horses, it was the dogs she was most fond of and connected to. Many found this incredibly odd, as when she was young, she suffered an incredibly horrible dog bite, that took off her bottom lip and required over 3,000 stitches. For her though, she believes that was what sparked an incredible admiration for the species.

Kelly believes strongly in education and the need to continually learn and experience new things. She attended the Episcopal Academy, and then went on to graduate from the University of Vermont with an undergraduate degree in business. After graduating she began pursuing her career in the pet industry. She began working for StayDog LLC, the local dealer for Invisible Fence® Brand. While learning all facets of the company and working her way up, she entered into the MBA program at Villanova University which she later graduated from. Kelly continued her education and learning directly related to pets. She became certified through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA) and also became a Certified Canine Nutritionist. She has taken courses and attended classes from some of the top instructors in the nation including Dr. Suzanne Hetts, Dr. Dan Estep, Dr. Ian Dunabr, Dr. Ava Frick, Grisha Stewart, Patricia McConnell, Nicole Wilde, Pia Silvani, and more.
Kelly quickly became partner at StayDog in 2007. The company is among the top 3 dealers of the over 500 throughout the nation. Bringing her knowledge of behavioral training into the Invisible Fence world, Kelly and StayDog have designed training practices that have all but eliminated concerns of shy and fearful dogs within the company and clients. Kelly has also helped expand StayDog into new pet related businesses with new exciting plans on the horizon.

When not working on her own ongoing education, Kelly helps in educating others. She has helped design and teach sales training courses to other businesses across the nation. She also teaches, something very close to heart, dog bite prevention, to young children.

Other than dogs and business, Kelly’s time is spent with her amazing family, including her husband Ben who is an amazing Chef, her wonderful two toddlers, Wes and Finn, and her Pit Bull Bucca and Mastiff Lily. She loves all sports and spending time outdoors.

Jennifer Lavelle is owner and head trainer of Kool Dogs Training Academy. She is a Certified Canine Trainer and Behavior Specialist with over 29 yrs in the pet industry. She was a Master Groomer for 19 years and has been training dogs for over 20 years. Jennifer got started in the industry when she rescued a 6 month old Shepherd/Collie mix named Butterball, who had serious resource guarding issues. Jennifer was able to work through Butterball’s issues, with the knowledge she gained from a professional trainer, to the point he was completely trustworthy and a reliable member of the family.

Jennifer continued to hone her skills and began working as a veterinary technician assistant and groomer before joining the Army in 1995. In 1998 during her deployment to Bosnia Jennifer had the distinct honor of working with military detection dogs and she realized her calling. She spent 16 weeks training bomb detection dogs with the German Army. She started professionally training dogs in 2000.

While Jennifer offers basic and advanced obedience and puppy manners classes, her passion and specialty lies in behavior modification, ranging from obsessive compulsive disorders to all variations of aggression and reactivity, as well as training Alert Service Dogs, specifically Diabetic and Crohns Alert Dogs. Jennifer looks at the whole picture, taking into account the lifestyle of the owners and the needs of the dogs. Jennifer believes all dogs are unique so the method of training she chooses will match the needs of the dog she has in front of her.

Accompanying Jennifer on many of her trainings is her Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, Blaze, who is also her service dog. Blaze and Jennifer became a team in 2009. Blaze is instrumental in helping dogs work through their aggression and reactive behaviors and has helped in training hundreds of dog on dog aggression and high reactivity cases. Jennifer travels all over the country training dogs with serious behavioral issues.

My daughter has been the face for my photography the last 2 years and I am forever grateful for my kid who’s got the patience of Job as I’m testing out different things with my camera and settings. Ava is such an amazing little kid at following directions & sometimes wants to try out things on her own weather it’s posing or wanting to do something daring. She’s a natural, and loves being in front of the camera 😍📸 If any of my AMAZING followers are interested in booking me to do photos of your child or children don’t hesitate to reach out! These are the moments that will last a LIFETIME 💕
