Please consider adopting from your local shelter or ANY shelter for that matter! There are so many cats and dogs waiting for loving homes! View many of Project Hope Humane Society's adoptable pets at www.adoptapet.com. Also, there is a search engine on that site that allows you to look for certain breeds, say, Dachshund, for instance!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all and our wonderful supporters...the shelter could not survive with out your continued support...while you are out shopping don't forget the throw blankets and new toys so all the animals can have a nice Chistmas day suprise.
Thanks to John for arrangements for the staff and volunteers at the shelter today to have dinner by the Presbyterian Church. A great surprise...
