Calling all bearded dragon lovers! This guy needs a super loving home! We took him in from a bad situation where he had nothing in his cage except a food bowl and a tiny log not to mention he was very overweight! He has been on diet and getting proper lights now for 5/6 months and he is ready to go home with someone ❤️
We call him Mr. Chubby Pants, but I'm sure he won't mind a name change 😁

If anyone is looking for a good basking surface for their animals we have slate pieces available! They are excellent at holding in heat versus plastic hides which aren't sufficient for basking areas.
You can see the baby(who is still available) is absolutely loving hers❤️
We also want to add that we have several used heating lamps available pretty cheap for anyone who is looking for one or a back up in case theirs stops working. We know money can get tight so if you are struggling please reach out and we will get you covered.

Arthur the Ackie is looking for his new home and it is obviously tiresome work! I mean look how adorable he is when he sleeps though!
Ackie monitors are one of the smallest species of monitors so this guy is pretty much full grown! They are also super intelligent and Arthur is particularly curious and loves exploring and running around during the day, plus they are super fun to watch even if you don't want to handle them all the time!

Please write to our state representative!! Everyone who has reptiles needs to write a letter, email, or call and inform them of how drastic this issue is! There are no alternatives to heat sources for our animals and the vital lights they need and most people in Congress won't understand this and they need to be made aware by as many people as possible!

I have very disappointing news. We ran into a problem with the building and although we have tried to come up with a solution there just isn't one where we can have animals that we leave in the shop for people to come see and look at. It really breaks our hearts and we know others will be disappointed as well. Josh from Purple Moon Aquatics has been such a great supporter of ours and he will be carrying our reptile supplies in the shop. This will include bugs, calcium powder, lights, light domes, decor, and more. Hopefully in the future we will be able to get a store front in town, but we will still be in business until then. We are determined to not let this shut us down completely and will be continuing to educate and help anyone who asks for help, because the goal was always to get proper information to everyone who needs it! If anyone wants to set up an appointment to look at any reptiles please let us know!

As we approach opening day we wanted to make a post so everyone knows we will not be accepting cards as we don't have the capacity to do so at this time. We will be accepting cash, cash app, or venmo.
Also if anyone is needing anything specific now is the time to let us know! We will be doing a final check on everything for the shop and a order this weekend so please reach out if you need anything♥️ most bugs will be available starting tomorrow, but the crickets will not be in the shop until we are as they are fickle to keep alive if not monitored 24/7.

This is a serious issue for anyone with reptiles! Please while you can get your lights and stock up now while you can. We have got some for opening day, but may not be able to get more or they be very difficult to get.

NEWS ON OPENING DAY!!!!
We will be opening Saturday June 15th at 11am for the grand opening! I know a lot of you have waited for news on this and we appreciate the patience and support so much! Make sure to come on in and check out the animals they are ready to meet you!
We are moving with Purple Moon Aquatics to 1309 W Hospital Rd, Paoli, IN 47454. We can't wait to see everyone!

We have gotten some questions about calcium for bearded dragons, so I wanted to share with you guys this list that we use of brands that should be used and a schedule for dusting bugs and salads.
Also a reminder for anyone who has a bearded dragon or plans to get one they CANNOT have fruit of any sorts. A great alternative is flowers such as dandelions as long as they are free of pesticides or other chemicals.
These brands are recommended for all reptiles as well not just bearded dragons(except the snakes of course).

For anyone who has been wanting live feeders for snakes/monitors I will be doing pickups for frozen feeders on specific days and will pickup live for anyone needing them. You will HAVE to pick them up the SAME day I get them! If a bunch of people tell me they want them and don't show up I will not offer this service any longer as I do not have the space or time to care for them with all the reptiles as well.
Also you must bring your own carrier to pick them up.

I also urge anyone who is feeding live to try and get them on frozen feeders! Snakes eating live can become more defensive and large or small rodents can/will bite your snake if they don't eat it which can cause harm to them or can even kill your snake! Nobody wants to loose a $200+ snake to a $5-20 mouse/rat!

Look at this baby gold tegu! They don't get as large as the Argentine tegus, but have the intelligence of the monitors and are just as cool in our opinion!

We have approximately 2000 crickets we added to the colonies this weekend and Arizona(our personal bearded dragon) was not pleased they were not all for him, I know how rude of us!
I know that Purple Moon Aquatics is closed until Wednesday, but if anyone is needing bugs before then please send us a message with the amount you need and we can set a time to meet you guys up there!

Bugs have been dropped off at Purple Moon Aquatics! Sorry for the delay for anyone we made wait!
Here is a list of everything we dropped off today:
4 containers of 25 count Dubia roaches
1 container 15 count hornworms
1 container 24 count hornworms
1 container 200 count large meal worms
1 container 50 count large mealworms
2 containers 50 count super worms
1 container 12 count crickets
Also don't forget the in the small blue mini fridge there is wax worms and red wigglers.
We will be getting more crickets to the shop shortly. The colony is still being slow producing so we are going to go get some more hopefully this weekend to add to it to hopefully boost the reproduction, they can be fickle to breed sometimes, thank you for everyone's patience 😊

Just wanted to show off 2 more of our babies we will have available. They sure are adorable 😍😍
Baby ball python is eating frozen thawed adult mice and rat pups. And the baby leopard gecko is pretty much tong trained already! She is the fastest to catch on to the tongs of any gecko we've had❤️
