Meet Pixie and Frode, our double trouble MVPs (Most Valuable Pets) for February!
Pixie likes:
🐾Visiting people- she's very social!
☀️Laying in the sun
❤Cuddling in laps
Pixie dislikes:
🐶Change- especially if new dogs move in where her friends once lived.
❄Cold days- she makes puppy dog eyes until you give her a blanket!
Frode likes:
🌱"Helping" in the garden
🥕Snacking on carrots, tomatoes, peas, & strawberries
Frode dislikes:
🥒Green Beans
Fun facts:
They're both the typical Viszla velcro dog- they can't get close enough!
While they don't typically play together, Frode and Pixie will wait on the deck often for the other to come outside before they go off on their own in the yard.
We have learned that they can't go out when it's raining because they will "melt". On the other hand, if they are out and it starts raining that's ok. Also Giving them a bath or shower is horrible but if you happen across the occasional water / mud puddle and all bets are off.

Walnut Creek is recruiting dogs aged 10 years and older to participate in a study for a treatment intended to extend the lifespan in older dogs. 🐩
Does your dog meet these eligibility requirements?
– Aged 10 years or older
– Documented proof of age
– Weighs at least 14 pounds
– Able to participate for the full four-year duration of this study
This study is currently being conducted at 2 of our 6 network locations, Walnut Creek Veterinary Clinic and The Ridge Veterinary Clinic. The study and associated visit expenses and lab work are provided at no cost to you.
