We have decided to name this guy Hercules. It seems like a fitting name considering all he has been through. He appears to have been out on his own for a while due to his weight, but the major concern is the leg. He is being cared for at Bridgeport Animal Hospital where he the best decision for his future will be made. If anyone recognizes this guy, please let us know. He will be looking for a home once healed up. We do not know what his vet bill will be yet, but we know we will have one. Anyone willing to help can donate directly to Bridgeport Animal Hospital or to the rescue.

Update #2: Hercules is back home after successful surgery. X-rays revealed another bullet lodged in his side 😢 We have included a pic our current bill which is $1101.67. Any help with donations is greatly appreciated.

Update: the vet was able to get x-rays and confirmed his leg is shattered, but by a bullet! It is frustrating to think someone wounded him and left him to die. I am very grateful for those who stopped to help him. We can now find him a good loving home 🐾

Little Oreo says “It’s FINALLY FRIDAY y’all!”

All donations go towards vet care, dog food, and all the things dogs need (like flea/tick prevention, beds, toys, electricity, treats, etc)! Every donation helps!

Our current electrical bill every month is between $900- $1200 (sadly with Wise Electric ☹️) Every donated amount helps us keep the electricity on here for the dogs.

Donations not only keep the facility running, but allow us to make improvements as well! Please help us help the animals.

Chelsea is your girl! She is a super sweet small mixed breed puppy. She is estimated between 1-2 years old and loves attention. Her short legs can outrun most and she is ready to prove it. She loves to be by your side and will chill on the sofa or go for a walk.
