Lucky wanted to thank the amazing volunteers who worked overtime getting ready for this snow. He loves his new tire bed too!

Lucky is a wonderful pit mix around 4 years old hoping for a home. He is great with other dogs and always eager for belly rubs when you go inside his pen. He has spent a long time in a shelter and misses a home. Come spend some time with him and see his goofy personality for yourself. Can you open up your home to this amazing sweet dog?

Are you looking for some pyrfect pups?

Well, Ariel and Apollo are the ones. These two Pyrenees mixes are ready for homes. They would love to have the room to run and play and will work hard to please their families. While they have spent most of their time outside, they will adjust to being inside as well. They would love a home together, but can also find a home separate. They love the water, so a pool during the summer is perfect! Their playful nature will win your hearts for sure.

Our dog food supply is sadly running low again despite the donations last month. We have a large amount of food coming in a few weeks, but need help in the meantime. If anyone can spare dog food, we appreciate it. We prefer to feed purina puppy chow tender and crunchy or diamond natural, but will not turn food away either. We greatly appreciate the help.

Save the date

Between the weather and the construction, the rescue is in need of a good clean up! We will be having a work day on 1/4 from 11am-3pm and hope to see lots of extra hands. There are simple tasks such as sweeping the kennels to bigger tasks such as fencing. Both the pups and humans welcome the help for any length of time

Sunday spotlight

Shadow is waiting for his forever home here at the rescue. This sweet young man has grown up here, but still is hoping for that family that can love and cherish him. Shadow plays with other dogs, but is best in a home without cats. He is house broken and loves to roam on the 10 acres here! He can use a refresher on leash work, but is a quick learner. Come say hello to Shadow and fall in love with this big goof ball!

We hope everyone had a good holiday! We are back to work here and finally have the opportunity to move forward with the container to house the current residents before the cold hits!

Our set back is the spray foam. The best quote we have received is $1800. We currently have $600 raised for the container. We are looking for donations to cover the remaining or for anyone who knows someone that has the skill and supplies and willing to help the rescue.

We are amazed at the continued support and I hate asking for so much, but the dogs need it! If we can quickly raise the funds, the dogs can be in the container next week! Every penny donated helps with the care of the dogs here.

Hero says “It’s FINALLY FRIDAY y’all!”

All donations go towards vet care, dog food, and all the things dogs need (like flea/tick prevention, beds, toys, electricity, treats, etc)! Every donation helps!

With increasing demands for help, the kennels have been started, but need finishing touches to make sure the dogs are comfortable. With the increased need come more medicals as well, so donations are needed to keep up with vet bills.

Meet Wiggles

Wiggles is an estimated 2 year old Plot Hound mix. She is a super sweet and fun loving dog. Her small puppy statute gave way to a long legged athletic dog. She would love to go on adventures and then settle down for some family relax time. Wiggles is great with other dogs and come house broken! This sweet girl will certainly wiggle her way into your hearts!
