We have experienced a tremendous amount of phone calls and messages regarding intake of animals.

At this time, we are over capacity and need support from our followers and community with cat & dog food along with monetary donations. Monetary donations help with vet bills, medications and other essential supplies.

Gina's apologies, we have had to temporarily close our intake services.

HELP OR DON’T

Either help locate Lorelei or step away. No more negative or derogatory comments will be tolerated towards us or Mr. Medlin.

This is only to find the dog that disappeared under Mr. Medlins care. He posted those words himself and he no longer wanted her…Nothing else to read into here.

A man took a dog in good faith and no one has seen or knows anything about her since.

What would you be doing if she was your dog??? And, what do you people of the community want us to do, look away and do nothing? Come on now, this is ridiculously out of hand. HELP US LOCATE HER OR STEP AWAY. Your hindrance of allegations is not helping.

AGAIN…this is about Lorelei’s wellbeing only and nothing more.

We are not going to hash out he said/she said and only want to know if she is safe, sound and in good hands.

This is LORELEI… it appears some are wanting to create more trouble than is needed about the situation with her adoption.

The safety of Lorelei is what is important, not throwing dirt! If you have questions then ask away. The reason all of this started is because of an adoption that went wrong.

We thought we covered every aspect in regard to Mr. Medlin adopting Lorelei, we did everything we possibly could to make sure he was a good option for her or he would not have had the opportunity.

We did not anticipate he would abandon her within the first couple of days.

We reached out to the public to help us locate her. We have not said anything derogatory in regards to Mr. Medlin other than the truth, he said himself that “he does not want Lorelei.”

If you do not wish to help locate her then please do not comment. Our only concern is for Lorelei. We would not have had concerns if Mr. Medlin’s acts were in the best interests of the dog.

For clarification… Ginas assisted with the adoption of Lorelei and Mr. Medlin. We provided Lisa with all the needed information, documents and support for this adoption. And, we personally know Lorelei and are responsible for our part in this adoption. If you have any questions, please reach out. We will continue our efforts until Lorelei is found.

URGENT!!!

ALL RESCUES OF LOUISIANA, We are reaching out to all Louisiana Rescues, shelters, cross-posters, we are looking for the dog below.

Adopter…Jeff Medlin of Ruston, has abandoned this sweet fur-kid somewhere in Louisiana perhaps in the Lincoln Parish area. Two days ago, Mr. Medlin accompanied by a female, drove to Saginaw TX. to complete the adoption and take Lorelei, to her forever home as his companion. He passed all new parent/adoption requirements, had all the items needed for her comfort… bed, food, toys, etc.

Then yesterday, he reported to the adoptee that she was not the dog for him. He has since removed her from his home in Ruston LA. He has at this point stop communicating with her adoptee. We do not know her whereabouts are or what he did with her. Authorities have been contacted and are searching for her as well.

She is probably scared but is a big sweetheart, absolutely no aggression. We are asking for the help of Louisiana and East Texas Rescues and Shelters for help!
