Marceline the Vampire Queen just got done shedding and is looking so beautiful 😍 she’s got a nice orange and salmon color on her sides and underneath. I don’t get pictures of her too often as she much prefers her own space away from people. Out of all 36 boas I have she’s the only one I won’t allow people to handle unless they’re experienced. She’s a full grown female about 4-5ft in length yet despite her being smaller she’s got quite the attitude. I plan on pairing her to one or both of my male Nicaraguan boas 2023 IMG het blood and 2023 Blood Nicaraguan.

All done with Pop Tarts appointment
Doctor says Pop Tart overall looks very healthy and would like to monitor the bump to see if it changes in size at all before proceeding forward. The next steps would be taking a sample from the mass to see what it could be or removing the mass which both procedures can be pretty invasive especially for her size. So I’m going to take daily pictures of the bump and continue to update and communicate with UC Davis.

Drove 2hrs to UC Davis for Pop Tarts vet appointment. This is for the bump on her nose. Hopefully all goes well 🤞❤️ will give an update when we’re done. Waiting to be called now 🐍

Everyone welcome Carl ❤️🐶 he’s a rescue that was scheduled to be euthanized due to behavioral issues. Thankfully the previous owners did everything they could for Carl and I was lucky enough to see his post on Facebook. He’s already made himself at home and enjoys following me and exploring the house. He looks so Derpy I think he’s just adorable ❤️ I will be monitoring him and working with his behavior to see what excites him. He will be with us for a couple months if not longer.

A little peak of what my daily life looks like 🥰 I haven’t been posting the dogs as much so I’d like to get better at that. Doing my walk around for today making sure everyone is cared for and working on cleaning. Very blessed with all that we have and that I can care for and spend time with the people I love and the animals which I consider family ❤️

Mante here has been settling in quite well. He took a large meal last night and is digesting on his heat. He’s had normal looking stool and got done shedding a week or two ago. He’s a sweet boy that’s very curious and enjoys being handled 🐍

A lot of people ask me these questions since I’ve gotten into working with and breeding Boa Imperators and honestly I wish people knew the truth and would do research before getting a boa and especially before deciding if they want to breed them. I spend between $250-$400 every couple months just on food to feed 36 boas. Plus one of the babies has a vet appointment at UC Davis for her nose which is $150 for them just to look at her.

-Why do your boas cost so much?
-Why do you breed boas?
-How can I start breeding boas?
-What should I pair with my boa?
-How much money do boas sell for?
-What morphs should I breed together?
-What type of enclosure do I need and how can I keep the humidity up?

I work with the boas and decide to breed them as this is a passion and hobby I enjoy to do for myself and caring for the boas. I will most likely never make as much back financially as I have put into the boas between the cost of the boas themselves, food, enclosures, heating, Vet appointments, and overall supplies. Even before getting into breeding I myself didn’t realize how much it would cost just to feed this many boas. My main priority will always be the animals health and well being like it should be with any proper and professional breeder. I will not sell my boas to people who are more focused on making a profit and I will not lower the price of my boas to such an extreme that I’m practically giving them away. If a person is genuinely interested in learning about and giving their animals the best care possible then I am more than happy to give that person my time and answer any questions they have. It’s people like that in which I’m honored to sell my boas too and more than happy to work out a good deal as once again my priority is the well being of the animal and not making a profit from them.

This female is a fantastic representation of the genes she has.
