Heat Advisory.......we don't want to bake your peaches...

Yep, it is too hot to be open until 4:00 pm. The rest of thus week we will operate from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm 9/4 thru 9/6.

If you can't come during those hours come up to the house on the north driveway. Peaches will be in our cold box.

UPDATE ON SNOW GIANT WHITE PEACHES....there are likely 100 more boxes to pick and they will continue to be on sale. Following that variety will be our last white peach, Cascade Whites.

We apologize for the switch of hours but the heat warnings are serious and we were melting today by 4:00 pm.

We can't wait to rebuild facilities.

PEACH SALE
CONTINUES

SNOW GIANT white peaches are ready. By the box (20 lbs) rain marked peaches are $20.00 they are great to freeze for smoothies. Also available by the pound and in tray packs, top quality boxes.

ZEE LADY peaches are also available by the pound and in tray packs. Very limited quanties of #2's that are cheaper and perfect to bake with or freeze. Prices vary.

GALA APPLES and new to the orchard
PINK SPARKLE APPLES are on the stand too. There will be thousands of pounds of Galas in the coming weeks.
Pink Sparkles are very limited...but if everyone likes them we could plant more trees.

We will see you at the farm today

See you all for peaches this week both ZEE LADY (Yellow Freestone) and SNOW GIANT (White Freestone).

Peaches are delicious!!!!
Remember, we are much later for our peaches to ripen than the valley.
Peaches here at 2,400 feet of elevation are coming on with vigor. Remember that deep rich peach flavor of years past.

ZEE LADY PEACHES
are starting to ripen......

A very limited quantity will be available starting Tuesday August 20, 2024, by the pound only so everyone gets a chance for a few. As we pick quanities of fruit we will have tray packs available. Unknown when that will be. Last night we had very low overnight temperatures, which can slow the ripening process.

Zee Lady yellow peaches are delicious, very sweet and great for fresh eating or baking.

All in all this is a very late growing season for this year. Bear with us, fruit is growing.

Days and hours of operation will be extended as the quantity of fruit increases and as apples start, soon!!!

Hello to everyone,

Closed until smoke moves out.

You are not missing out on fruit. All peaches are late this year. As soon as ready we will post.

Stay safe, stay out of the smoke and be thinking of what me, you and all of us could do to support another group of whose lives have been turned upside down be this current fire.

Plan ahead, it will not be the last fire this season. Then take action.

First fruits for the 2024 season are ripening now and are available at our Pentz Road farm.

Honey Kist Nectarines are available by the pound, in tray packs (48 pieces) or boxes of fruit wih minor blemishes for
dehydrating, baking or freezing. They are great frozen for smoothies.

Stop at the plant nursery as you turn off Pentz Road. Beautiful nursery plants are also available.

We only lost one very small plant with all the extensive heat of last week. We have lots of suggestions of how to protect your garden beauties.

Next fruits will be the beginning of our peach season. We will let you know as they ripen.

If Party in the Park is held this week we will see you there on Wednesday.

We appreciate your stopping to sample our fruits and view the numerous plants we propagate here in Paradise.

are ripe, but small quantity of total crop.

EXTREME HEAT HOURS:
Daily T-S 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, then head inside to a local eatery for lunch. Closed Mondays

Plants In our nursery are fine. Growing so fast.

Tigers lilies (domesticated ones) are blooming.

Fruit is getting started, available in the nursery during open hours. Peaches are a couple of weeks away.

WE ARE CLOSING UNTIL THE TEMPERATURES LOWER.

IF YOU PURCHASED PLANTS RECENTLY PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THEM.

GET THEM TO A SHADY AREA AND WATER FREQUENTLY.

CREATE SHADE WITH A THREE POINT SHADE SYSTEM. IT CAN HELP.
THREE STICKS INTO THE GROUND arranged as a "V" WITH MATERIAL (OLD SHEETS, USED WHITE TEE SHIRTS, COTTON ARE BEST) (no plastic or dark colored items).

OUTSIDE: Setting plants in a pan of water is NOT A GOOD IDEA. THE HOT WATER CAN BECOME TOO HOT FOR THE ROOTS.

LAST ALTERNATIVE BRING THEM IN THE HOUSE, WATER IN A BATH TUB OR SHALLOW DISH.

PLEASE STAY SAFE, hydrate, check on your neighbors, put out water for wild life, and be fire safe!

We are growing so you can replant your home garden, away from your home (with your 5' clearance) for your viewing.

Miles (our "new" cat) came to us as friends who have moved back to New York. Miles Stand-off-ish as they nicknamed him came in the house this morning for tuna and pets. Likely we will not see him again for several days.

The sale applies to all plants, all grown here on our farm. We do not bring in truck loads of plants. They are acclimated to our local area. A very important piece for all home owners and gardners.

WE WILL NOT BE OPEN AT OUR PENTZ ROAD LOCATION TODAY, 6/2/2024. Come see our nursery plants at the event.

Join the fun while learning about the huge benefits of grazers on our foothill landscapes. Mowers and we'd eaters work, but grazing animals keep vegetation down on a daily basis.

OPEN HOUSE 2024

at Noble Nursery in upper Paradise.

Visit our farm this weekend so you will know where we are located, 7050 Pentz Road. Our plant nursery will be open, we can walk out the orchard road for a visit to our stone fruit and apple trees and view Grandpa Nobles' Stone building
that was rebuilt in 2023 after the Camp fire.

Cuttings, seeds and all starts have gown up - ready for the 2024 nursery season. We propagate plants on our farm for the nursery so they are acclimated to our ridge weather.

June 1 and 2 special hours:
Saturday 9:00 am until 4:00 pm
Sunday. 10:00 am until 3:00 pm,
Or...visit our booth at the Grazing Festival Sunday at Terry Ashe Park.

Our fruit season will likely begin in late June with stone fruits, apples in mid August.

IRIS: Last variety to open Midnight Oil, blackish purple, beautiful and others still with flowers too. This week come by to select. 4 for $20.00.

ECHINACEA-PURPLE many large plants as well as smaller, all are ready to plant in your garden. With the heat already here best for in ground or very large container.

MEXICAN PETUNIAS, over 40 varieties of Succulents, Herbs, ground covers and shrubs.
SPANISH LAVENDER also.

We propagate what we offer at our nursery. Many of our customers have said they have great success transitioning our plants to their homes. The plants are already acclimated to the ridge climate.

Come see our new bearded iris garden located where the Serpentine Rock house was before That Day. Over 30 different varieties to select from. They are still blooming if you can come this week.

The Nobles Nursery opens tomorrow at 10:00 am for the 2024 season.

Plants are gorgeous, with a slight delay of some blooms due to the last week of weather here at the farm. Many new items with lots more coming soon.

HOURS (This week) Thurs, Fri and Sat 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additional days/hours will be added soon as we are open with fruits 7 days a week and have enough help. HINT:Apply tomorrow!

Back at the market, 12 varieties of apples available. (CLOSED AT THE FARM ON MARKET DAYS)

It is time to load up on apples now. They will store well in your garage since it is cold each night.

U-PICK at the farm still available. Weather will shut it down soon. Fujis, Granny Smith with limited Golden Delicious are still on the trees.

THIS WEEK at the market-AVAILABLE APPLES: 12 varieties (some very small quanties)
Arkansas Black's, Black Twigs Breaburn, Colville Blanc, Fuji, Golden Delicious, Golden Russet, Granny Smith, Jonathans, Pink Lady, Red Delicious and Rome Apples.

We will be located on the south side of the market next to Third Street,

We need our publics HELP getting fruit to food banks for Christmas this year.
Grab your friends to pick Granny Smith and Fuji apples. There are still tons of apples.
