Update:
Her owners have been located and they don’t want her back. They drove her many miles from home and left her sometime yesterday morning. She’s skinny but has a great appetite and should return to a healthy weight soon. Her teeth are in great shape so she’s likely closer to 1 year old. She’s flea free and healthy and very deserving of a second chance! Please contact us if you would like to make arrangements to meet her.

This sweet baby was found near Kirby Rd in Battle Creek. She’s probably around 3 years old. She’s thin and may have been loose for a few weeks! Please reach out to us if you recognize her or if you have any leads. Also reach out to us if you interested in adopting her. She’s very sweet! 🐾♥️

Hello Friends! Unfortunately our staff is experiencing a Covid outbreak. Several of us have fever/cough/headache and have test confirmed positive. If you’ve come in contact with us this week, please get tested if you have any symptoms. The rest of this week’s appointments have been cancelled and we will not be available for our Walk-In nail trim service. We will post updates as we know more information. Please stay safe out there!

If there was ever a post we would like you to share, it's this one.

Veterinary medicine has changed. Appointments are booked out weeks to months in advance. This is not just our clinic, but clinics nation wide.
If your pet needs an annual exam/vaccines anytime before the end of the year, call now to schedule it. If your pet is sick, please be understanding and patient with us. We do the best we can to triage appointments based on what is the most serious, and what could possibly take more time than we have. Now vet appointments are comparable to your human doctor, you may need to be more flexible with appointment times offered, wait longer to hear about bloodwork, understand that if you are having an emergency with your pet, we may suggest you head to an emergency clinic.
Trust us this hurts us as much as it hurts you as pet owners. We wish we could work in every sick pet and no one would ever have to wait. We appreciate your understanding.

What a squirrel wants. What a squirrel needs. Whatever makes you happy and sets you free…

Hey! Paws off! The squirrels at the Grand Canyon are well-adapted for their environment, and are highly skilled at finding food. Sometimes, too much food. When you come to Grand Canyon National Park, or any national park, don't be fooled by the cute demeanor or charming appearance of the local wildlife. It’s a trap!!!

Squirrels are wild animals, and will do whatever it takes to acquire their next meal—which may include part of your finger! They’ve also been known to get into backpacks and lunch pails, steal food right out of visitors’ hands and when they’re done…laugh about it. Monsters.

Some of us might think of ourselves as “animal whisperers” or be really familiar with them. (Like when you pet a dog and the owner says, “Wow, he never lets anyone do that.”) We can certainly appreciate that, but consider using your gift to help your national parks be a place where wildlife can be wild. So keep your bags zipped, your containers sealed, and remember to do your part in keeping wildlife wild.
