We need pumpkins 🎃 for our piggies 🐷 I fed them what we had and they would love some more! If anyone has any leftover pumpkins or garden veggies (please bo bleach, paint or mold) you can drop them off at our farm or message me I can pickup around our area. Busy day so far. 3 litters finally tagged and evaluated, 11 barrows cut, sold 1/8 of butchered pig, 7 feeders and our amazing Sam boar that will breed anything in sight and should be a great asset to his new family. We have lots of feeders ready to go and a couple breeders that we have been extremely picky on ready to go. Still need to tag and evaluate the Ida X Sam litter 🙏 there is a few breed quality in that litter. Hope to complete by next weekend.
Farm life has not been easy when we both work full time and have 2 kids with school and sports. We really need to downsize our pigs. We have several adult boars, sows, gilts and lots of feeders if anyone is interested. All time lowest prices we have ever offered to get them moved because I can’t do this anymore! Please message us if interested in anything.

RWF Kelly K2819 gilt, now sow was bred by our RWF Snickers K5030 “fun size”. She had 3 beautiful baby boys-the snickers “bite size”. Unfortunately we lost 1 but so thankful for these 2 cuties that should grow big with all of mamas milk. She decided to make a nest in the field so we tried to lure her into her hut tonight with feed. Hopefully everyone stays warm and safe tonight.

Our highland cow Dahlia has a baby on the way!! I didn’t realize she was due at all but Zach noticed. I’m just keeping an eye on her while there is daylight.

Doesn’t look like it in the pic but 219 bales of hay stacked as we are getting ready for winter. 100 bales of straw coming next weekend and we should be set for the pigs and cows. We will see how long it lasts.

I took too long at feeding time. All piglets came out from the far pastures to eat from the front pastures. Super cute but so frustrating. We have to fix some more fencing and 10year old wood posts that are rotted.

So many peaches! Lots of pears as well this year. Unfortunately our apples got demolished by the dear

Mama heart and dad is our handsome Sam. Up to 8 babies when I walked away with Destiny gilt. So awesome to see the new life on the farm ❤️ Edit: 11 babies total. Unfortunately lost 1 boarlet at the end. I tried to resuscitate but he was already gone.

Getting the pastures mowed today since they’re so overgrown. So thankful for a nice spring and summer so far
