What a fun night at the KHJA Banquet! Shea earned a 4th in Poles and a 5th in Crossrails, the first of what we’re sure will be many awards they will win with sweet, young Phoenix. Sarah brought home a 4th in the Long Stirrup Hunter with Flynn the Wonderhorse! Honorable mentions go to Sarah for a 7th place finish for the Long Stirrup Equitation and to Kennedy for a 7th place finish for the Long Stirrup Hunter. Can’t wait to see what we bring home for 2025!

Last night, Becca and Patches brought home the top prize in the 1.10m Gambler’s Choice here at WEC! It’s been so fun having Patches back showing with us this week, and this was really the icing on the cake 💙

What a week we’ve had! 🤩

Becca and Messi started us off strong, with a Reserve Champion in the 7 yo Young Hunters and a win in the THIS Adult Medal (National Horse Show 2025 here we come!).

Becca and Casi laid down some wonderful rounds in the 1.0m and 1.10m, coming away with a 10th place finish in the 1.0m Classic. We have officially nicknamed her “the Blur” 😂

Mary and Messi brought home some wonderful ribbons in the 3’3” AO’s, including a 9th place finish in the classic.

Sarah and Flynn joined us this week with hopes of grabbing a few more points for the year end Equitation division, and more than achieved their goal earning great ribbons in every class they entered, including a 7th place finish in the classic!

Shea and Phoenix made their crossrails debut together, and brought home a 2nd, 4th and 7th! Phoenix really is growing into a lovely young show horse, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve next!

Thank you everyone for a phenomenal week, I couldn’t have asked for more! I’ll post show photos once we’ve received them. We’ve got one more show on our schedule next month to finish off 2024, and then we will take a few months off to work towards next season. 💙

Congratulations to Elena on her lease of Famous! We’ve always been a big fan of this special horse, and we’re so excited to have him in the family. Can’t wait to see what you two accomplish together! 💙

We had a great time up at for the Young Horse Championship this past week! Becca and Messi finished 3rd, wrapping up a fantastic season in the 7 yo Young Hunter Division. Becca and Casi also had a phenomenal week in the 1.0m classes - I don’t think anyone has more fun on course than that speedy mare. Also, a huge thank you to WEC for setting the practice course outside so we could prep Becca and Messi for the National at the end of the month. Onto the next!!

So proud of these two and all they accomplished this week at Fall Classic horse show! It was a week full of progress, bravery, and overcoming anxieties. Both riders walked away with seriously great successes in very large, competitive classes. Sarah’s goal for the season was to qualify for the Medal Final, and today she laid down one of the best trips I’ve ever seen from the two of them. Kennedy and Pesto earned second in a large derby class their first time out. This week was one for the scrapbook, ladies! Onward and upward!
