Another Halloween at the Haven is in the books. Valkyrie's Haven would like to take this time to thank everyone who volunteered and those who participated. We couldn't put this on without you!

Valkyrie’s Haven is offering limited winter board this year. Availability December – April 1st. We will have a nine-stall barn available for a trainer to work out of or full board individual horse owners. Please visit our website www.valkyrieshaven.com to see photos of our wonderful facilities. We are located in Paris – on Cynthiana Road. We have 150 acres with mown paths for riding/driving and conditioning. Our indoor arena is 100’ x 200’ wide with sand/fiber footing suitable for mixed riding. Our newly completed outdoor dressage arena measures 40 m x 80 m. Inquiries to Leslye Sandberg 847-602-7500 to discuss possibilities and show you around our facility.

Halloween at the Haven Combined Test and Driving Trial

Please join us for our CT and DT as we welcome competitors from novice-training to hybrid. Come enjoy the event, including a Friday welcome reception and a Saturday night Halloween Party with dinner. Costumes are encouraged! Ribbons and prizes for all levels plus best Dressage and Fastest Cones both days.

I really need to fill a couple more spots for our JR Robles Clinic!! This is NOT a reining clinic. It is a clinic to help with basic horsemanship skills that should be utilized in ANY discipline. Saturday morning starts at 8:30am with a group lesson, and the Saturday afternoon group lesson starts at 1:00pm. Both sessions will be different so you can definitely ride in both. THEN Sunday are 50-60 minute private lessons with JR. You have a whole hour of JR to yourself! Be one of the few, lucky individuals who are lucky enough to learn from the winner of Road to the Horse! Any drivers in the Lexington, KY area? Spokes & Spurs driving club is hosting a "mini-CDE" this Sat., June 1 at Valkyrie's Haven near Paris, KY. This is the perfect opportunity to see what a CDE is about. By "Mini" we mean a short version. There will be Dressage and Cones then a short marathon with Four obstacles over a ~3 km. course. We could use some more volunteers! If you would like to learn more and come help out at this event we'd love to meet you! PM me for more information. We will provide lunch for volunteers.
