If you know me you know how much pride I take in being turned out in your best (thanks pony club) and my kids killed it! They don’t understand important it is now but I hope they carry that pride and meaning with them when they are older ✨

The Junior foxhunting championships was this past weekend and they kids were AMAZING!! Cora and Lizzie rode so good and got into the top ten to go onto the individual course.

They were the best sports about getting up early, taking care of their ponies, and helping in the barn all while having a blast and making memories. I couldn’t be more proud of how hard these girls have worked in preparation for this and how far they have come.

When they say it takes a village, boy does it. Our team is so awesome and everyone works so hard and well together that no man is left behind, making light work in a long fun filled weekend. We can’t wait for next year!

It won't be long until the next annual Legends of Bourbon County Festival! If you don't already know, this festival celebrates famous thoroughbreds with a connection to Bourbon County! Our county has such a rich equine history known all around the world.

This year our festival is in celebration of CURLIN, who stands at Hill 'n' Dale Farm at Xalapa! The farm is one of the most beautiful farms in Bourbon County and will offer tours during the festival. You will be able to get up close and personal with CURLIN himself!

Kicking off the event is The Fall Meet Gala on Friday evening. On Saturday and Sunday in historic downtown Paris there will be vendors, artists, artisans, food trucks, hospitality vendors, live music on the Concert Stage, and shopping with our local merchants. Add to this the extra activities on Sunday.

Sunday is Family Fun Day on Main Street, with local talent on stage all day, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, arts and crafts, Chalk the Walk, and more!!
