Not until after I had named my new business, The Fence Line, did I realize that I have a life long admiration of livestock fences. They truly are an icon of the old west. They stir up a nostalgic connection to times past. Representing a life of hard work, protecting property and livelihood.
Today I was out in the cold crisp Oregon evening fixing my horse fence. Not exactly “old west” but my small sliver of connection to days gone by.
