This week flew by but was absolutely jam packed with knowledge and good memories. I learned more than I know what to do with but I can tell you it makes me hungry to learn more. Thank you to the for having our tables be in the mix and allowing me to come participate and learn. Thank you to the for putting on the raffle that allowed me to attend as a student. Had the privilege of working on two customs tables recently. One for Minnesota Conservation and the other for Hastings PD. They turned out great and were a blast to work on! After those were done we had several HDPE box orders to fulfill and wrapped it up with my wife finally making me take a new professional photo for the business n such. We appreciate and love all of your support since we started in 2022 and can’t wait to see what the future holds! Now, let’s get out and train!

☠️ The false information could definitely result in increased fatalities.

🥵Heat is the leading cause of preventable death in dogs and such myths will only make things worse.

💦It is essential to cool a dog as fast as possible

🍳Their brain and body are literally cooking.

🛑 But STOP COOLING at 103F (above normal temp) because temperature has momentum and there is risk associated with a dog that gets too cold after they are too hot.

🐾 None of the major medical organizations would agree with the guidelines in the original post, including K9 MEDIC (which I, Jo-Anne Brenner, am the director of).

✅ A good source of accurate info is this page which is an excellent third party compilation of multiple experts in this field including multiple veterinarians, medics, and experienced K9 handlers from multiple fields:

***ATTENTION*** Starting tomorrow 05/21/2024 at 0600 AM I will be out of town on a much needed fishing trip in the gulf with other cops and veterans. Following that is a much needed reunion with my Marines in Nashville finished with a SWAT training in the panhandle in Florida. I will be back home June 1st. During these two weeks orders and responses will be delayed, we will do the best we can to get orders out in a timely manner and answer all messages. Thank you for your patience! !

Had a blast this weekend down at training dogs and watching masters of their craft do their thing! We were completely humbled to have one of our modular training tables owned by front and center for all of it! A lot of solid dogs and amazing trainers/decoys putting In work. It never ceases to amaze me how those with experience and knowledge to pass on to others tend to be the most humble and willing to learn. and his crew were top notch humans that truly love what they do. Y’all have worked hard and become leaders in the industry and I for one appreciate the way you do things, keep it up! Shout out to it was an absolute pleasure to meet you guys and learn from you, I can’t wait to have you guys out again! And as always big shout out to my brother , you are a class act and one of a kind. I am grateful to call you my friend and mentor and I can’t wait for what the future holds for you and your family going forward. Almost every damn thing I’ve learned about dogs I learned from Ben and he has continued to instill in me to remain humble and be hungry to learn every chance you get.
