Found tortoise today in Aurora, Colorado near Arapahoe and E470. Being held at Parker Exotic Pets in Parker, CO. Please call to identify with proper species and size if you've lost a tortoise in the area. We're not posting a picture to prevent false claims of ownership, as we'd like to return him to his family.

Just a friendly announcement I shouldn't even have to make, but after the events of this morning, apparently I do. If you need to abandon your pet at our store without having the decency to hand it to an employee or asking permission to surrender it to begin with, at least leave it in a carrier, cage, or box instead of yeeting it through the door and letting it run wild through our facility. That'd be great. Then again, if you're the type who thinks this is an appropriate approach to rehoming, you probably never had any business owning a pet to begin with.
