Hello and happy spring to our FB friends!
We have been busy organizing, working on upgrades, and chasing unpredictable stock levels. We greatly appreciate all our wonderful customers for sticking with us these last couple of years through all the COVID challenges. Expect more regular postings going forward - new products, fun and useful tips for your furry friends, and bits of news. We recently celebrated our 20th anniversary in Parker!

Sorry for the inconvenience - most of us are stuck in our neighborhoods for a while and are still digging out! We will open NO EARLIER than 3pm today to give everyone a chance to clear the way and drive safely. Will update if anything changes - thanks so much for your understanding...

Hello Everyone! Due to the crazy weather, we have decided not to open today - please be safe and stay warm. We should be open normal hours tomorrow, but if plows are slow we may be delayed a bit - will be sure and post any updates here.

So everyone can hang with the gang on Labor Day, we will be closing at 2pm today! Also not a bad time to prepare for the instant winter we will be getting tomorrow? What happened to Fall?

Need a bath or a groom? Summer fun does make a mess sometimes! We are back to full staffing and then some for grooming, so whether you are looking for do-it-yourself facilities that enforce social distancing (private rooms), or a great full-service groom, just give us a call :)

It's official, we will be open again for self-wash and grooming on the 27th! We will be spreading out our appointment schedules and taking extra precautions (masks, cleaning, etc.). Please be patient with us while we work through our wait list and rebuild our schedules. We ask that all customers practice social distancing, handwashing and other recommendations so we don't have to go backwards again. We all want to go back to normal but will have to be extra careful for for a while - looking forward to seeing a few dogs in the shop again!

We will be closed for Easter Sunday - open for normal hours on Monday. Looks like the weather won't be good for Easter eggs or anything else next week. Will just have to stay home and hang with the fur kids!

So here we are on week three of retail only! I hope everyone is staying occupied and keeping safe. We remain open for normal business hours, the shelves are stocked, and we are able to bring your food out curbside on request. Please be aware that we are not grooming or offering self-wash to comply with state and county orders - we remain ready to start those services back up just as soon as we are allowed to do so.

Hey there! Just a reminder that Essential Pet retail is open for normal hours, and our stock levels on most items are good. There are a few items that all our distributors are out of, so if you have a specific need don't hesitate to call and ask. We appreciate your business more than ever as we try to keep the doors open while this madness passes over. Hug your furry friends and stay healthy!

Just wanted to let people know that the retail portion of the shop is OPEN for normal business hours.

We do have a few out of stock items which will be coming in next week, but if you have questions about what we have on hand, please give us a call.

If you would like to order over the phone and have us bring your supplies out to your car, we are happy to do that.

We are working hard to keep going, and while it is very quiet due to grooming and selfwash being closed, we want everyone to be safe. When businesses are given permission to resume grooming and selfwash, we will let everyone know.

Thank you for your loyalty, and we hope to come through this and go back to something more like normal soon.

In compliance with TriCounty Health and PACFA, our grooming services and self-wash will be shut down until 18 April. We will try to reschedule people out past that date, but there is no way to know if things will change.

Retail will remain open so everyone can feed their best friends, who I know are a great comfort now that we are mostly stuck at home worrying about the situation.

If you would prefer to order and pay over the phone, and have your food brought out to the curb, we can accommodate. If you do come in to pick up items, please respect the personal distance requirement so we can help stop this craziness sooner rather than later.

We are looking at ways to make remote ordering easier, but we will do our best to make sure you get what you need. Everyone be careful and stay healthy.

Hello customers and friends, I wanted to post an update on current operations.

This is a challenging time for everyone, and we are doing our best to stay open for you and to keep our shelves stocked. While there are a few products missing, weekly deliveries are still coming and most products are available. If conditions worsen, we may transition to phone orders and pickup. A few key points and thoughts:

THANK YOU - for continuing to shop with us. We truly appreciate it.

If a product you need is out of stock, please ask us and we will do our best to provide information. We reorder every week, so sometimes we have to wait until our distributors get their deliveries. The supply chain is running, and with a few exceptions products will continue to be available.

Be considerate of your fellow pet lovers - by all means pick up supplies for 2-3 weeks to minimize going out, but there is no need to stockpile large amounts. If a particular item does become unavailable, talk to us and we will try to find you a close substitute.

We are sanitizing and cleaning everything frequently - but if you do need to go out for essential supplies, don't forget to mind your personal space, wash up, and avoid touching your face or eating with unwashed hands.

And most of all - take care of yourselves and your furry friends, and we will all get through this crazy time!
