We have developed our retriever training program by adopting the best concepts from the top trainers across the country. Our system, combined with an ability to

"read" each dog, has produced great hunting dogs and dogs that have achieved the highest titles in the hunt test game. Our program features a strong obedience component, an extensive force-fetch program and uses an abundance of live birds and marks. This system is designed to bring out your dog's natural hunting and retrieving instincts and will allow you the control needed for you and your dog to work as a team.

Angela and Phillip W from Duluth, MN sent us an update..."We just wanted to send an update on our boys, Scout and Filson, after a successful fall. Scout is 6.5 and Filson turned 1 on Dec. 1 while out in SD chasing pheasants. We’ve been thrilled with both dogs. They are amazing both in the field and with the family. They love chasing birds, but do enjoy their time on the couch. Scout has turned into a pointing machine. We shot a number of roosters over staunch points this fall. Although he does give us a dirty look if we miss or don’t shot…gender identification isn’t his strong suit. Although it has taken him awhile to fully embrace his little brother, they are now best buddies and Scout has been a great mentor. Filson is learning and honestly the best 1 year old lab we have ever had! Full of wiggles and kisses, but a drive like no other. He will chase cripples, catch pheasants, retrieve anything that moves, and he just never stops hunting. We can’t thank you enough for all you do! We’ll be back in a few years for our third NPR puppy!

Brooks did a great job for his owner Garrett F. in Kodiak, Alaska. The bag includes harlequin, golden eye, buffle head and a couple of mallards! Brooks completed our Started Retriever Training Program this summer! Good job Brooks!
