FIREWORKS & the 4TH OF JULY is next Thursday

Please start preparing now for your pets🐶🐱🐰🐈‍⬛🐈

✅Make sure your pet has a current tag and microchip is up to date

✅Keep your pets away from windows & sliding glass doors

✅Take a current photo of your pet

✅Make sure your side gates have locks and windows closed

✅ Take your dog on a walk before
fireworks to help release extra energy

✅If your pet has anxiety with fireworks then start working on getting them some type of anti Anxiety med whether it be holistic, CBD or from your vet
Leave your TV’s on so their is noise inside

✅ If needed have a space designated for your pet such as a quiet room or crate.
Provide them with treat toys such as a Kong to help keep them busy
and distracted. Playing calming music or keeping the T.V. on can be soothing.

Don’t wait until last minute.
July 5th is the busiest day in the shelter.
You can never be too prepared. 💜
