ADOPTION WEEK March 24 - 30
Pets are family, and can bring hope, companionship and unconditional love to their people. Adopting a pet in need of a home can bring joy to people and also impact communities, alleviating strain on overcrowded shelters. That’s why Ark Cat Sanctuary will have many adoptable cats and kittens at the Flagstaff PetSmart for PetSmart Charities® National Adoption Week, taking place March 24th through March 30th, 2025. Ark Cat Sanctuary aims to find homes for 25 cats during the event.

It prevents unwanted litters, reduces cat overpopulation, reduces the chances of mammary tumors in female cats, and makes it less likely that male cats will roam/spray/fight. Well this is a first! A foster for the Ark is also fostering some puppies from Tuba City Humane Society that are now with Coconino Humane Association. Looks like Ark foster cat Wembley has adopted the puppies and is being their cat Dad. 🥰 Wembley and Mokey (his sister) are a bonded pair that love dogs and will be available for adoption soon at the Flagstaff PetSmart! 💕 #catdoglove

SPOTLIGHT ON: SIDEKICK! Sidekick is a formerly feral TNR senior cat living his best life at the Ark. The poor little guy didn't do too well in his colony as he had developed severe food allergies, but he is receiving the best care at the Sanctuary. He loves to live in his habitat and get pets from all his Ark friends. His situation is very unique, so he would only be adoptable to a special person.
