Looking for help on Sundays with barn chores.
MUST be reliable, must have a good attitude and willing to learn.

AM shift - start between 6AM and 7 AM. takes approximately 3 - 4 hours
- feed barn
- turn out
- clean stalls (approx 30)
- put hay in nets

PM shift - start at 4 pm (takes approximately 1 1/2- 2 hours
- full water buckets in stalls
- dump grain
- bring horses inside

Pay per shift or option for lessons/ride time/lease.
Possibility to work more shifts if available.

Dressage, trail, or fox hunter prospect

Frank’s personality -
Frank or Frankie as I call him around the barn has a unique personality. I would consider him on the more quirky side of horses but believe that will grow out of them as he matures.

On the ground he is very loving and an in your pocket kind of horse. Great ground manners, stands in the cross ties, good for vet and farrier. Loads and unloads in the trailer like a dream.

Under saddle - he is a blast to ride and so comfortable. He has been coming along very nice at the walk, trot, canter. He offers natural lead changes under saddle. He will trail ride all day and hack out. I use him for lessons for my more advanced students and they love him. He is a type you have to put effort into riding and not just plop around on him for his ring work.

The quirk - he is naturally on the spooky side- mainly in the arena. Never has had an explosive spook but will give the side an eye and occasional jump in his skin spook. If you are confident and can reassume him it’s generally never an issue. Second quirk, he is not confident in his ability to jump in the ring. He will stop the first time but will plop over it if you keep him straight. I will include jumping pics to show that he can do it- confidence is just lacking in the ring. I’m not selling him as a jumping prospect for ringwork at this time so please don’t expect to jump him around the ring right now.

Out of the ring he has seemed to not mind jumping natural obstacles- logs, coops, telephone poles, barrels ect.

Frank has been to a few schooling shows. He has been hound walking most of the summer and will continue foxhunting until sold. He has been hauled out a ton and is very well behaved off property.

Very easy keeper, happy to live out. Currently barefoot. Gets along with his field mates, has been in with mares and geldings.

We have had a few cancelations for the remaining summer camps!

Week 3 AND mini week 2 are in need of a few more campers to be able to host!

Come out for a fun week of horseback riding, games and crafts! Indoor and outdoor arena for all weather riding.
