Little Sophie… this dog isn’t just missing her owner — she’s grieving like a child who lost her entire world overnight.

She lived her whole life with one person, she was a diva in her own castle. One routine. One heartbeat she followed from room to room. And when her mom had to go into a retirement home, Sophie didn’t understand any of it. One day she woke up with her mom… and the next day she was gone, she was dropped off with a basket full of clothing and toys with me.

Now Sophie sits in a foster home, surrounded by animals she’s never met, trying to survive a heartbreak she can’t put into words. She is learning how to play with the peasants aka dogs and cats.

She just watches the door, Every. Single. Time.

If that door cracks open, Sophie’s whole body tenses — tail still, eyes wide — waiting for a face she knows isn’t coming. She doesn’t want freedom… she wants home. She wants her, she would do great with an older couple with a fenced yard, until she gets used to them and will not try to escape.

And the saddest part?
If anyone says the word “mama,” Sophie’s ears shoot up and she starts pacing the house, searching every room like she’s sure her mom must be hiding just around the corner.

This is a dog with a broken heart, trying to figure out why the person she loved more than anything disappeared.

She’s trying. She’s adjusting. But you can feel the pain in her little soul — and all she wants is love, patience, and someone who will stay.

Adoption fee is $200 to cover upcoming vaccinations and grooming fees.

💔 Sophie’s Heartbreaking Goodbye 💔

Some stories are hard to tell — because they aren’t just about rescue, they’re about love, loss, and the quiet heartbreak of a dog who doesn’t understand why her world suddenly changed.

Sweet Sophie had her person — her gentle, loving momma who adored her. They were a perfect pair, two souls that found comfort in each other. But when her momma had to move into a retirement home, she couldn’t bring Sophie with her. She had to say goodbye… forever. 💔

When I put Sophie into my vehicle to take her to her new foster home, she wagged her tail, trying to be brave. But as we drove away, I softly said, “Don’t worry, little Sophie… we’re gonna find you a new foster momma.”

The second she heard the word Momma, she looked out the window and began to howl — long, aching cries, like she was calling out for the one person she’ll never see again, she knew the word momma. It shattered my heart into a thousand pieces.

Now Sophie’s waiting… her bed feels empty, she slept with her momma every night, her eyes search every face hoping one of them might be her when I dropped her off.

She doesn’t need much — just someone with a kind heart, a warm lap, and gentle hands. Someone who will tell her it’s okay to love again.

Our Animal Rescue got a call from a senior asking if we could help find a home for a stray puppy, we contacted the animal control officer on her behalf got a file number, put a little description and shared the puppy on Rescue Needed.

Because of that another rescue stepped up to help find this little one a forever home, thank you Mona Ahmad.🏡🐶

A kind senior citizen found a tiny 2-month-old puppy, weighing only about six pounds, wandering alone through a senior mobile home park. She couldn’t turn her back on this helpless little one and brought the puppy inside to keep her safe.

This sweet woman is also caring full-time for her 94 year-old father. She’s doing everything she can, but she’s overwhelmed and simply can’t keep the puppy much longer. Her heart is heavy because she truly wants this baby to be loved and cared for.

A report has already been filed, but this little pup desperately needs rescue, foster, or someone who can offer her the safe, loving home she deserves. She’s innocent, gentle, and just wants to be held and loved.

🐶 The Bambis Army Welcome Committee Has Been Disbanded 😫😒🐾

Well, peeps it finally happened. The Welcome Committee has been kicked out of office.

Let’s start with our chairman Jax— a six-pound red head Papillon mix with the personality of a tiny mob boss. Cute? Absolutely. Approachable? Absolutely not. He hates people, hates dogs, and somehow still runs the house like he pays the mortgage. He’s small, loud, and permanently on probation.

Then we have Benson — the grumpy old man of the bunch. He’s got attitude, a questionable past (did a little time at the Parlier pound), and what we’ll politely call “testicles full of rage.” He doesn’t care what you think — he’s seen things, and he’s not here for nonsense.

These two who cannot get along with each other, but decided to pair up and recently decided to jump another poor dog who just wanted to join their little social club. That was the last straw. They’ve officially been fired from the Welcome Committee for bad behavior and poor teamwork.

So while these two “distinguished gentlemen” work on their anger management issues and now are court order to attend anger management classes, now I’m left with the sweet little girl who no fault of her own has permanently lost her mother and needs a foster home she deserves a calm, loving place to land.

💖 A Heartfelt Thank You 💖

Because of your kindness and compassion, a sweet senior citizen from Reedley was able to fix three of his beloved cats. These cats are his little companions who decided to make his home their home too.

They bring him comfort and love every day. Thanks to your donations, they are now safe, healthy, and free from the endless cycle of kittens.

He started with five cats. One, is feral and hard to catch, and another little one ran off on the very day of the TNR appointment. But we haven’t given up — we’re doing our best so all of them can be cared for.

Your generosity has truly changed their lives. You gave hope to a senior who wanted nothing more than to do the right thing for his furry friends.

🐾💔 Sophie Lost Everything… But Still Has Hope 💔🐾

Through no fault of her own, this sweet little girl was found running across the freeway, March 2021 terrified, confused, and just trying to survive. A kind driver stopped and brought her safely to our animal rescue.

Not long after, she was adopted by a loving senior who adored her. She finally had a home, a soft bed, a basket of dresses and toys. She had someone who loved her every day.💕

But life can be unfair. Her human had to go into a convalescent home and couldn’t take her along. It wasn’t anyone’s fault — just heartbreaking circumstances.

Now she’s safe with us again… but she doesn’t understand why she’s not with her momma anymore. 😢

She looks around, waiting for her momma to come back — not knowing she NEVER will. Now, she’s starting over, hoping someone out there will open their heart and give her the forever home she deserves. 🏡❤️

She’s gentle. She’s loyal. And despite everything, she still believes in love. Sophie is about 4-5 years old and under 10lbs. 559-393-0264

The story of Chiquita aka Pixie unfolds in the barrio of Selma, where she was waiting to be discovered, Daisy Pallares her previous owner could no longer care for her and contacted Bambi's Army - Rescue of K9's for help.

Our rescue organization sent her to an Oregon dog rescue, where they nurtured the spark within her, and Pixie blossomed.

Her new family, experienced in agility sports, tapped into Pixie innate athletic ability and thirst for learning. Enrolling her in agility training, they unleashed her full potential.

Bambi’s Army Rescue of K9’s received a call during that time, they wanted to know who did this dog belong to? where does she come from? who are her dogs parents? what happened to her siblings?

To prepare Pixie it's important to assess her physical health, energy levels and intelligence.

Pixie heritage proved to be a unique strength; her speed, agility, and surprising poise left even the purebred competition in awe.

At her first major competition, Pixie faced a field of seasoned champions, but with her newfound confidence and unbreakable bond with her handler, she delivered a flawless performance.

Taking home the top prize, Pixie proved that with love, support, and a chance, even the most overlooked can become extraordinary. Today, Pixie lives life to the fullest, basking in the love of her family, running free, and exceling as a top-tier agility dog, a shining testament to the transformative power of love and opportunity.

This morning, I have found refuge for this Labradoodle that was on the brink of disaster with his sibling who passed away in the canal during the summer, and Mucca the only survivor is now embarking on a journey to wine country to find his forever haven.

I've recently welcomed a new male cat to the colony, and although he's a bit reserved, he's found a unique spot to dine on top of my vehicle, as the other male cat runs him off.
