Over the past week the Parlier Animal Shelter has been making some significant upgrades for the welfare of the animals. With the hard work and dedication of the City of Parlier Public works department and area has been cleared and made for the exercising of the animals we have at the shelter. A newer and better heating system is being installed to help with the cold weather. Some new beds/cots had already been purchased and put together when we received some help a few weeks ago Lory Betancourt and the Second Chance Animal Rescue of Selma.

The upgrades are ongoing and we thank you for your patience and assistance. We are continuing to waive the fees for adoptions and appreciate anyone who would like to adopt. We thank and appreciate the assistance from all of our Community Based Organizations and Partners.

This afternoon Lorena Betancourt and Lydia Juarez donated some much needed dog beds and tarps to block wind for the shelter. We appreciate your continued support and advocacy for our furry friends.

The Parlier Animal Shelter is still in need of adoptions and or fostering of our larger breed dogs.

Parlier Police Department has picked up this Maltese on 12/17/24 at approximately 1:00pm from the Parlier middle school.
He has a microchip and goes by the name shaggy. 5yr M cream colored Maltese. if he is your dog he is available for pickup at the Parlier Police Department.
Shaggy stray hold will be over on 12/19/24 and will be available for adoption. Adoption fees waived.

🚨FOUND🚨 dog was brought into Parlier PD he is about 3-6 months and has a orange collar with no identification. Belgian malinoise/ German shepherd puppy. Please bring proper documentation or proof of ownership to reclaim dog. Adoption will be available on 10/28/24 all adoption fees wavered.
He seems to know some tricks already and is showing staff what tricks he knows his name for now is rusty🎃🍂🍁
