The practice that Briana does has changed this mare’s life! I have had this horse for months and know her well. If you have a horse with spastic behavior you should strongly consider this. Brianna has made her life better and the training get a lot more bang for the buck!

A few months ago I dropped my 3 year old off at the trainers. I knew she had pulled back at home prior to going. I could see a cranial shear and her behavior suggested she needed craniosacral. Naturally.... I never did get to her before she left. 🤦‍♀️

Fast forward a few months and I finally was able to do a CST session with her at the trainer's. I checked in a week or two later to see how she was doing.

Her trainer said that she went from a 3/10 to a 6/10 on the trainability scale. She was breathing deeper during training, standing more quietly and maturely. Her general existence was better, she was happier and less crabby towards the horses that lived near her.

I believe in this work, of course, and even I was super impressed! ❤️

There is a lot to be grateful for! I have so much going right it is incredible. Thank you to the owners of these great horses that trust me to give their horses an education! Thank you to the mentors that have shared the tricks of the trade! Thank you to the breeders of these horses that have advanced the bloodlines and given us such smart horses to work with! Thank you to the governing bodies of the performance horse industries to give us competition and help us advance! I am fortunate and grateful for many many things, including you! Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

I am very proud of my students! These four Amy Wilson, Mitchell Petronek, Kimberly Kelley Gibbs, and Molly Blemler did great in the Boxing Derby at Gem State Stock Horse show this week! I love seeing people progress with their horses! I also coached Kristin Winter and Shay Doll in the Greener that grass class and am excited for their future! I never would have guessed how intrigued by boxing I could get!

Some tough cows made the Non Pro Boxing Derby herd work a hard fight! It was Amy Wilson and her 2019 mare Claws (Catz x Ms Anelo) who topped the field of 22 with a high score of 140!

We wrote some history tonight! I was the first non Australia to compete and ended up reserve champion! I am very grateful to Peter N Maree Rogan and their mare Shirley Shiney! This has been a blast, there a so many great people I have met!

People look at me like I have two heads when I say we are riding outside right now… doing fence works for that matter. The right blend of design, maintenance and luck make it so. Our arena is on top of a 14,000 year old gravel bar formed by the Bonneville flood. It’s about 30’ of gravel topped with several feet of blow sand common throughout the Snake River Basin. We then laser leveled that with a slight grade into the prevailing NW wind. Gravity drys the base while the wind and sun dry the surface. As long as it gets worked daily (after being compressed by hoofs and the roping sled) we keep enough air in the sand for it to dry. This clip was yesterday, January 11th.
