Over the last week we have had about 7 inches of snow, then ice, then melt, then ice and more snow this morning and now rain. Needless to say, we’re swimming in mud and muck over here 😭

I had to make my lockscreen something I’m looking forward to.. Spring cannot come soon enough!!

I have one mare due in 5 days! (Guarantee she will be late)
And one mare due in 3.5 weeks! (Thinking she will be early by the looks of it!)

I’m so excited! Get ready for baby spam.

Also.. pray for wind and sunshine 🙏🏻

My application has been accepted to participate for a 3rd year with Teens And Oregon Mustangs!

But this year there is a twist.. 🌪️

I won’t be finding out which horse I got until the pick up on April 24th!! 🫣

Looking forward to another year working with the amazing non-profit that has changed thousands of horse and human lives, over the last 11 years. If you haven’t already, like their page! These folks deserve all the love 🫶🏻

Day 22 - Productive day! But not without some drama on her part 🤣

The bear, was nothing… bit pressure on the other hand.. that was a long conversation.

Afterwards she tied with out pawing to France!

Fun fact: I googled the actual Antipode from where I live and it’s Port-aux-Français, Kerguelen, French Southern Territories. 🤓 So instead of saying China, like I normally would, I can now accurately say, “pawing to France”.

All saddled up ✨

This girl had a few days off with the IRCHA futurity going on and some training horses final week here ~ But we picked right up where we left off! Took a little longer to get those sweet quiet eyes that I’m such a fan of, but they came 🥰 Then we did her first saddling which went flawlessly, and picked out all 4 feet for the first time!

So proud of this girl that still doesn’t have a name. (Don’t hate me 😆🫣🫶🏻)

Worked on lunging on a line today, worked on her draw, haltering, picked up all 4 feet and completely picked out her front feet ✨ Loping is HARD. 😮‍💨
