Alright handsome hounds crew!!!

We had a spot open up for our daily drop in/ walks during the week. If you have a day job that takes you away from home where your dog has to be left for hours alone then this message is for you.

We have a spot available for someone looking to have us stop by for 30 minutes during the day time to walk or let your dog out so they can potty or burn off some energy. Time is going to depend on the day and can vary so we will discuss that in our meeting.

If you are looking for your furry friend to get some time out of the house while you're at work then send us a message, call or text so we can set up a meeting and discuss the options.

Here is a good representation of how a socialization class with us work.

First video is the first 5-10 minutes of class. Dogs all amped up and feeding off of each other. After working some exercises they then start to settle down and want to engage more with their owners. Finally getting to a point where they can all be chill with each other and not care.

Our idea of proper socialization isn't playing as most people would think. What we want to teach you is how to teach your dog to be neutral and not care about dogs, people or whatever they fixate or react towards. Teach them to not care so you are able to do even more things with them and take them more places without being worried about how they act or what people think of you when they are.

Our socialization class is probably our most booked class and most popular. We give you guys a safe, structured environment for you to work on your pups reactivity towards other dogs or even people.

These classes are held on Tuesday evenings and book a month out and fill up fast so we decided to add another day!!! This class will now be available on Friday evenings as well. So that gives you guys more chances to work your dogs and potentially get them to become more neutral.

All dogs must attend an evaluation if you are new to us, so we can appropriately place you in the correct class.

Mr Gus is proof that if you stay determined and with a little assistance you can overcome any obstacle. He came to us for our confidence building class and over the past few weeks he showed us he could do it.

Week one he didn't even want to touch the equipment with his front paws, lacking a lot of confidence with height or anything off the ground. We worked tactile boards, balance boards to get him comfortable with being unstable. Then progressed to cushion blocks to get him off the ground. Eventually getting him to here. Being able to get up and realize the world wouldn't end!

He definitely needs to keep practicing but this big boy has grown so much over the past few weeks.

Our confidence building class utilizes different agility equipment and home made tools to help your dog get over it's fear of textures, sounds, movement and heights and more. You will bond with your pup and help them gain more confidence doing these tasks while learning some of the basics of agility.
