These guys are rocking it at socialization!!!

We set these classes up to provide a safe, controlled environment for you to work your dog over it's fear, anxiety, over excitement and aggression.

This week's Adventure walk/hike will be at Lake Isaac. Anyone interested sign up on our booking website and we look forward to the fun.

Wednesday: 7-8pm
1 dog per person
$10 per dog

Make sure to only sign up if you are able to walk more than a mile. Wear good shoes as we will be on some trails. Bring water for both you and the dog.

We had an amazing turn out yesterday for the "Believe in Dreams" packwalk. Little miss Annabelle had a blast meeting all the dogs and watching us conduct some socialization training.

We are excited to watch her grow and learn to work with pups. She has so much love for animals, little does she know the impact it can make for her later in life and we can't be happier to be a part of that.

We have power!!! We are keeping our fingers crossed that it stays on and we can be back on schedule for Monday classes.

Reminder tomorrow is our special packwalk for the little lady who wants to become a dog trainer. We are asking everyone to come out and attend so we can show this little lady everything there is about dogs.

We are currently out of power at training center and home so anyone trying to get a hold of us please be patient.

Tonights adventure walk is still on and all text have gone out to those who signed up. We walked the path this morning and it's doable.

Power company does not have an update and could be days so will keep everyone posted with upcoming classes and lessons.

August 11th packwalk we will be having a special guest come out. We are partnering with Believe in Dreams to help make some young kids dream of becoming a dog training.

We are asking that anyone and everyone come out to packwalk so we can make this an amazing experience for them.

Location: 7075 Parma Park Blvd, Parma Heights, OH
Time: 9am-10am
Price: $10 per dog donation

Some rules: 1 dog per person. No retractable leashes. No flexi leashes.

Everyone welcome the newest member to the handsome hounds pack!! This little lady is being fostered with one of our favorite clients "Kara" and if everything goes great she may become part of her family.

This little nugget did amazing for her first day meeting everyone and trying to figure out what was going on.

1 week left till our new schedule with new class times and new things to do.

We had a bunch of people ask if we were going to do the evening pack walks like last year. So we decided to do something like it but add in some more exploring and getting to know other people and dogs.

Starting August 7th we will be having evening walks/hikes. Max of 10 dogs each week. There are restrictions like no flexi or retractable leashes. You must be able to walk a minimum of 2 miles. Also remember to bring water for the pups as it's still summer and warm some days.

Our socialization reactivity classes are a hit and book up quick and are a few weeks out.

After having an evaluation with us where we assess your pup and give you some pointers and ways to manage the dog better, you can then attend this class to have the opportunity to work on those behaviors. Very safe and structured environment to help your dog over the anxiety, fear or over excitement they get around other dogs or people.

Starting August they will be held on Tuesdays from 7-8pm. Anyone that has attended an evaluation can just sign up, any new clients please schedule an evaluation prior.

Starting in August our play group moves to Monday's. So if you have a dog that knows how to be off leash and physically interact with others pups and your looking to burn off some extra energy or meet some new friends we have the place for you!

Our socialization class is set up to give you the space to feel confident and comfortable to work your reactive dogs.

After having an evaluation or some private lessons we help you understand your dog and how to communicate better to them. Teach you some ways to mitigate the reaction and ways to disengage your dog when they are fixating without having to keep saying commands or stressing them out more.

Here's a clip of the start and end of last night's class. It was a mix of not confident, scared and even overly friendly type of dogs. Our whole idea is to teach the dog to be more neutral no matter how they view people and dogs. Just to not care about them and the only thing that matters is their owner.

They have been reunited!!!!

Mr. Zeke has his momma back and they couldn't be happier to see each other. He is back running around acting his normal self and we owe it all to everyone one of you! You guys help raise a good portion of Zeke's vet bill and we thank you so much.

Another day in the books! These amazing John Marshall highschool kids put on a show today as part of the National Independence day parade in Washington DC. They rocked it and as a treat they got a pizza party this evening. Tomorrow will be even more adventures and cool things for these kids to see.

Pup-date!

Mr. Zeke is home, well with his grandma. His mother Mo couldn't be happier and can't wait to get home herself to see him.

The doctors said after all his vomiting they were able to do X-rays and everything looked ok. They relieved all the gas build up and left him overnight on oxygen. Yesterday around lunch time he was able to eat some food and act somewhat normal. Their biggest concern was ammonia from all the aspiration but they think he is all clear.

Mo and The Handsome Hounds wants to thank all of you that helped her out and you all are very special to her now. We will be back home late Saturday and will post some more updates and photos of Mr. Zeke.

We have some sad news and are asking for some help if possible. Everyone knows Mo and how amazing she is. She puts everyone before herself and will do anything to help anyone.

Tonight her dog Zeke had an accident and had to be rushed to the emergency room. He will be there overnight while they run test and keep him on a feeding tube and oxygen. Mo is devastated and the hard part is she leaves at 5am to D.C. for her school trip that is mandatory. So she won't even be able to be local for him.

Medvet Cleveland gave her a bill of $4500 with a range from $2700-$4500 all depending on how the night goes and what they have to do. He started vomiting and the dreadful bloat started. So they have to monitor him for ammonia and some other things.

Grandma is on standby for anything local and hopefully he will be discharged tomorrow. She is not the person to ask for help so we are doing it for her. We wish no one ever had to go through anything like this.

New classes and schedule is active. The new changes don't take effect till August so please still use the Blue/Orange classes till then but sign ups are open. We still have a few more things to add like public access/patio training, our confidence building class and more so stay tuned!

We are excited to announce a bunch of changes!!! We are rearranging the weekly schedule as well as adding some new classes/activities starting in August. July 1st we will post the new classes as well as update the booking site so you guys can reserve spots.

Reminder there is no packwalk tomorrow!!!

We are having our client appreciation cookout! This is a no dog event, so please leave those pups at home. We want you to come out and enjoy some food and games and ask all the training questions you may have. We will have some training demonstrations and teach you guys how to do some dog sports with your pups.

Please come join us tomorrow from 11-2 at veterans memorial day in Parma. Location is tagged above next to our name and we will have a tent sent up on the back side of the baseball fields. Anyone current or new clients welcome!
